Book excerpt: Touching many subjects such as, love, death, life, and peace, it’s fair to say the truth in between cannot be spared in this collection, assuring there will be more to the concept of poetry. I share the hue of every new daydream in memory of the human spirit and the cruelty it is willing to endure in order to reach a reason to confide its deepest feelings in the eyes of the believers. It must now call to shore. Each poem is unique, but it also binds with the rest in a relative way, giving significance to the voice that was always meant to be a rising endeavor.

During the storm, John sees 19-year-old Richard Hawkes, a petty thief and murderer, steal their church’s gold inlaid silver chalice. Each attracts followers, while both compete for the affection of the same woman. John’s guilt over his oath grows as he blames himself for unleashing Richard’s evil upon his community. At the same time, he believes breaking his oath would be a great sin. Nesehegan, one of John’s Indian students, tells John how he resolved his conflict between loyalty to his tribe and his belief in God. Months later, Richard calls John as a witness at Richard’s murder trial. Confronted with a question he can’t answer without breaking either his oath to God or his oath to the court, John remembers Nesehegan’s story.

Book Disease Is an Expiation of the Sins

Download or read book Disease Is an Expiation of the Sins written by Dr. Mira Bajirova and published by Partridge Publishing Singapore. This book was released on 2019-07-29 with total page 365 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Disease is an expiation of the sins. Every sin is a disobedience to God. The sins involve the evil jinn (demons). When a person commits the sin, a black spot appears on his heart. If he repents, asks for the forgiveness, gives up with the sins, restores the people’s rights and honor, who were wronged, and follows the Qur’an and Sunnah, Almighty Allah will purify his heart. But, if a person continues with the sins, his heart will become black and he will be doomed. “... Indeed, there is in the body a piece of flesh which if it is sound then the whole body is sound, and if it is corrupt then the whole body is corrupt. It is the heart.” (Bukhari) “Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured.” (Qur’an, Ar-R’ad 13:28) Sins remove God’s blessings: life, health, fertility, wealth, provisions, knowledge, memory... Refraining from the sins is more important than performing good deeds. “Whatever is good is from Allah, while evil and sin are from ourselves and satan” (Fatwas of Ibn Baz) The only one God, Allah, the Creator of the heavens and earth and everything between, seen and unseen, sent the Noble Qur’an and His last messenger to all mankind, as a healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy, and warning about the day of judgment and hellfire. “No calamity has descended except by disobedience, and no calamity is repelled except by repentance.” (Ali Ibn Abi Talib) “Know, for certain, that when you break no one will heal you except you.” (Ibn Al-Qayyim) More than 90% of the diseases are caused by the evil jinn, but doctors have no knowledge. Healthcare needs serious reform as went astray, instead of healing, it contributes to the progression of the disease and death, as it excites the hidden evil jinn and excited jinn spread more the disease. Satan can be cast out only by Ruqya and Negative Ions; both in the Noble Qur’an. The Ultimate Cure from all diseases is with Almighty God: Ruqya, Negative Ions and Prophetic Medicine. “Whoever abandons the Qur’an would abandon treating sickness and seeking healing through it.” (Ibn Al-Qayyim).

Download or read book On Freedom and Revolt written by Carl E. Moyler and published by . This book was released on 2020-10 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is dedicated to all those heroes and heroines who have seen and will see life as a daring adventure to be given in the name of service to humanity, to justice and to freedom. We know a few of them, but many others are lost among the nameless crowd. Albert Camus and Martin Luther King Jr are two first class role models who lived out their passion for justice and freedom. Today, they are among the heroes who are well remember around the world. The following words seem appropriate to reflect what they stood for: "For all who have sought to make a difference in the lives of men by their service and life, and to lighten the dark places of the earth" (Source: inscription on the wall of the Civil Rights Museum, 16th street, Birmingham, Alabama, USA) (Author unknown).Camus and King were born, reared and lived as personal witnesses to the political, economic and social ravages of their time and place. Neither man was willing to stand in the presence of tyranny, oppression, racism, exploitation, murder, war and do nothing. Therefore their response, based on their calling, was a revolt for freedom.Camus was the moral conscience of thousands of people, young and old, in Europe, the United States, and other places. He was able to impart to generations past and present a vision of hope and courage that gave optimism to doubt and uncertainty.Likewise, Dr. King in his nonviolent American civil rights struggle has left a message for present and future times a philosophy of militant nonviolent revolt in the face of overwhelming nullification against himself and his followers that is infused with hope, justice and love.Comparing the writings of these two Nobel Laureates and international hero-scholars is put forth here as a contribution to the never-ending quest for a more just, humane and rational world where we coexist in a civilized society in pursuit of being "My brother's keeper."

Book Learning How to Heal a Broken Heart

Download or read book Learning How to Heal a Broken Heart written by Marvin Scholz and published by . This book was released on 2019-10-23 with total page 163 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I have yet to meet someone who has not been heartbroken at least once in their life. It happens to us all, more often than not, it'll happen more than once. We get heartbroken, we get disappointed, we get rejected. It's part of life. We live in a world with flawed humans who fail us and make mistakes. Many of our dreams are wrapped up in these humans, and because of that, brokenness is just a part of living on this earth. It's a price of admission to this life and something which we all must pay. We can't always control the situation or the outcome for that matter. But we can control how we respond to the devastating blow when heartbreak strikes. In this book, I will go over all the ways one can truly heal from heartbreak. Dealing with the pain that comes with it, the struggle, the insecurities, disappointment, and the rejection. I will show you how to combat grief and how to endure the difficult road to becoming whole again. Heartbreak and disappointment, they change you; change how you eat, how you sleep, and how you interact with others. It shakes you to your very core. The essence of who you are. Recovering from such trauma can be an extremely lengthy and challenging process. If done incorrectly, you're not only prolonging your heartbreak but also risking long-term emotional damage. Add to the fact that most people don't even know what genuine healing really is, and then you understand why most people never truly accomplish it. In a world that leaves us broken many times over, we must excel in the process of healing. Healing is an art. An art that we must master if we want to live a truly fulfilling life. If we're going to create healthy, long-lasting relationships, then we have to learn how to heal fully, and in the right way from the ones that leave us broken. Because heartbreak isn't physical trauma where our bodies automatically know how to respond. No, I'm afraid with mental trauma, the healing process is far more complicated than that. And it's entirely up to us whether we heal or not. If your heart is heavy, if your soul is crushed, if you're suffocating in immeasurable grief and disappointment, I want you to take this book and let it be your lifeline for these troublesome times. Let me be the compass that will lead you out of this storm.
