Keith and published by . This book was released on 1977 with total page 48 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a report of an occupational survey of the Missile Systems Cable Maintenance/Splicing (AFSC 361X3) and Cable Maintenance/Splicing (AFSC 361X4) Career Ladders, conducted by the Occupational Survey Branch of the USAF Occupational Measurement Center during March and April 1976. The previous survey of these career ladders was completed during January 1970. In April 1977, several minor changes were made to AFM 39-1, Airman Classification Manual, to more clearly reflect current duties, responsibilities, and terminology. As part of this change, the title for AFSC 361X3 was changed to Minuteman Hardened Intersite Cable Maintenance and the AFSC was changed to AFS 361X1. In addition, the title for AFSC 361X4 was changed to Cable Installation/Maintenance and the AFSC became AFSC 361X2. Since the old AFSC's 361X3 and 361X4 were in effect during the administration of this survey, they have been used throughout this report. (Author).

Book Outside Wire and Antenna Maintenance and Repair Career Ladder AFSCs 36130 36150 36170 and 36199

Download or read book Outside Wire and Antenna Maintenance and Repair Career Ladder AFSCs 36130 36150 36170 and 36199 written by AIR FORCE OCCUPATIONAL MEASUREMENT CENTER LACKLAND AFB TEX. and published by . This book was released on 1978 with total page 66 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The results of this survey were compared to those of Occupational Survey Report (OSR) AFPT 90-361-035 dated September 1974. Although the number of groups reported in these two studies varied somewhat (six clusters in the 1978 study versus 13 in the 1974 study), the major job groups discussed in this report are very similar to those reported earlier. Job group titles have been changed from out-side wire to cable in order to better reflect changes in career ladder emphasis. Both studies found several groups of cable and antenna technicians which comprised the majority of the sample. Both studies found cable and antenna team chiefs and supervisory personnel in essentially the same proportion. The previous study did not isolate training personnel and technical advisors as a separate group; however, this loosely associated group comprises only one percent of the current study. It is apparent in reviewing the results from both surveys that the survey data has remained fairly stable over the years. With this stability in the data and as long as no major changes to the career ladder are imposed as a result of acquiring new equipment or restructuring with other related career ladders, a resurvey of this ladder should not be required for another five to seven years. Book Prediction of Officer Performance

Download or read book Prediction of Officer Performance written by Louis P. Willemin and published by . This book was released on 1964 with total page 64 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Officer Prediction Task, established within the U.S. Army Personnel Research Office (USAPRO), has a requirement to provide the Army with improved techniques and prerequisites for selecting officers who have aptitudes and other characteristics to meet demands for successful performance in different types of officer command responsibility. The study was centered on the differential prediction of officer performance in the technical, administrative, and combat areas of assignment. Validation of the Differential Officer Battery (DOB), a battery of experimental predictors administered in 1961-1962, is in progress. Situational criterion measures, five for each of the three fields, were developed and integrated into a regularly scheduled testing operation administered since July 1963 in a simulated MAAG setting at the Officer Evaluation Center (OEC), Fort McClellan. Initial statistical processing has begun.
