Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sir Isaac Newton estimated that the world would end no earlier than 2060. EXORDIUM postulates an eventless 2012, 2021, and 2060. The postulate proceeds from Sir Isaac Newton's sense that the sacred writings contained measurements of nature's secrets (e.g., codes, constructions, etc.) in its logical, symbolic, possible mathematical operations, or geometric blueprints. EXORDIUM depicts the Holy Ghost's morphology (i.e., natural history) as Homo sapien sapien; Jesus Christ, the Nazarene's morphology (i.e., natural history) as Homo sapien sapien; The Most High's morphology (i.e., natural history) as anthropomorphic (i.e., Human form) but did not Homo sapien sapien. If the Most High is the archetype, then Jesus Christ, the Nazarene, and the Holy Ghost morphological differences (i.e., natural history) are indicative of the Darwinian natural selection DNA switches of what was "switched on" or "switched off." The Holy Ghost, depicted herein EXORDIUM also, stated: "Rick's got the physics wrong!" (i.e., Subsequent to our troikas' physics are possibly proprietary realtime physics engines.) Archetypical also is the Behemoth creature (e.g., antediluvian beast or large animal) in the Book of Job, 40:15-24 abstruse and cryptic in Genesis 2:3 - Genesis 2:15. We hypothesize sacred writings (plaintext; S-Structure (Y) (Special Model) (Book of Job, 40:15-24) have underlying principles (TGG Rules) (ciphertext; D-Structure (X) (Standard Model) (Genesis 2:3 - Genesis 2:15): "If X holds true, then Y occurs." We posit that the human mind (cognition) is wired through Darwinian natural selection DNA switches which are today "switched on" by which an underlying (D-Structure) (ciphertext) (Standard Model) binary logic (e.g., up: down, near: far, hot: cold, etc.) is manifested historical relations such as kinship (i.e., social science). EXORDIUM is to precede the troikas to be entitled: Curriculum Vitae, Incipit, and Circa. The troikas will follow our exposition: TERMINUS. TERMINUS elaborates on Sir Isaac Newton's: Observations Upon The Prophecies Of Daniel, And The Apocalypse Of St. John.

Download or read book The Chronology of Ancient Kingdoms Amended to Which Is Prefix d a Short Chronicle From the First Memory of Things in Europe to the Conquest of Persia by Alexander the Great written by Sir Isaac Newton and published by Library of Alexandria. This book was released on 1770 with total page 376 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Greek Antiquities are full of Poetical Fictions, because the Greeks wrote nothing in Prose, before the Conquest of Asia by Cyrus the Persian. Then Pherecydes Scyrius and Cadmus Milesius introduced the writing in Prose. Pherecydes Atheniensis, about the end of the Reign of Darius Hystaspis, wrote of Antiquities, and digested his work by Genealogies, and was reckoned one of the best Genealogers.Epimenides the Historian proceeded also by Genealogies; and Hellanicus, who was twelve years older thanHerodotus, digested his History by the Ages or Successions of the Priestesses of Juno Argiva. Others digested theirs by the Kings of the Lacedæmonians, or Archons of Athens. Hippias the Elean, about thirty years before the fall of the Persian Empire, published a breviary or list of the Olympic Victors; and about ten years before the fall thereof, Ephorus the disciple of Isocrates formed a Chronological History ofGreece, beginning with the return of the Heraclides into Peloponnesus, and ending with the siege ofPerinthus, in the twentieth year of Philip the father of Alexander the great: But he digested things by Generations, and the reckoning by Olympiads was not yet in use, nor doth it appear that the Reigns of Kings were yet set down by numbers of years. The Arundelian marbles were composed sixty years after the death of Alexander the great (An. 4. Olymp. 128.) and yet mention not the Olympiads: But in the next Olympiad, Timæus Siculus published an history in several books down to his own times, according to the Olympiads, comparing the Ephori, the Kings of Sparta, the Archons of Athens, and the Priestesses ofArgos, with the Olympic Victors, so as to make the Olympiads, and the Genealogies and Successions of Kings, Archons, and Priestesses, and poetical histories suit with one another, according to the best of his judgment. And where he left off, Polybius began and carried on the history. So then a little after the death of Alexander the great, they began to set down the Generations, Reigns and Successions, in numbers of years, and by putting Reigns and Successions equipollent to Generations, and three Generations to an hundred or an hundred and twenty years (as appears by their Chronology) they have made the Antiquities of Greece three or four hundred years older than the truth. And this was the original of the Technical Chronology of the Greeks. Eratosthenes wrote about an hundred years after the death of Alexander the great: He was followed by Apollodorus, and these two have been followed ever since by Chronologers.

Book The Rhetoric of Numbers in Gibbon s History

Download or read book The Rhetoric of Numbers in Gibbon s History written by F. P. Lock and published by University of Delaware. This book was released on 2012-09-28 with total page 225 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Gibbon aspired to combine the critical analysis of the eighteenth-century philosophe with the older traditions of the humanist and scholarly historian. His different uses of numbers, to inform and to persuade, illustrate his remarkable fusion of these approaches. This book, the first to be devoted to a historian’s use of numbers, shows how carefully Gibbon interrogated and deployed the numerical evidence in his sources to create a more accurate historical narrative; to demonstrate his own reliability and candor as a historian; and to convince readers of the validity of his interpretations of characters and events.

Book The Folly of Revolution

Download or read book The Folly of Revolution written by S. Scott Rohrer and published by Penn State Press. This book was released on 2023-03-20 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this penetrating biography of Thomas Bradbury Chandler, S. Scott Rohrer takes readers deep into the intellectual world of a leading loyalist who defended monarchy, rejected rebellion and democracy, and opposed the American Revolution. Talented, hardworking, and erudite, this Anglican minister from New Jersey possessed one of the Church of England’s most outstanding minds. Chandler was an Anglican leader in the 1760s and a key strategist in the effort to strengthen the American church in the years preceding the Revolution. He headed the campaign to create an Anglican bishopric in America—a cause that helped inflame tensions with American radicals unhappy with British policies. And, in the 1770s, his writings provided some of the most trenchant criticisms of the American revolutionary movement, raising fundamental questions about obedience, subordination, and rebellion that undercut Whig assertions about republicanism and popular control. Working from Chandler’s library catalog and other primary sources, Rohrer digs into Chandler’s political and religious beliefs, exploring their origins and the events in British history that shaped them. An intriguing and thoughtful reappraisal of a consequential figure in early American history, this biography will captivate students, scholars, and lay readers interested in politics and religion in Revolutionary-era America.
