Book ANDRAGOGIE ET FORMATION DES FORMATEURS ANDRAGOGY AND TRAINING OF TRAINERS

Download or read book ANDRAGOGIE ET FORMATION DES FORMATEURS ANDRAGOGY AND TRAINING OF TRAINERS written by ETTIEN Assoa and published by KY Publications. This book was released on 2023-11-02 with total page 78 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Research Anthology on Adult Education and the Development of Lifelong Learners

Download or read book Research Anthology on Adult Education and the Development of Lifelong Learners written by Management Association, Information Resources and published by IGI Global. This book was released on 2021-03-19 with total page 1551 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Whether it is earning a GED, a particular skill, or technical topic for a career, taking classes of interest, or even returning to begin a degree program or completing it, adult learning encompasses those beyond the traditional university age seeking out education. This type of education could be considered non-traditional as it goes beyond the typical educational path and develops learners that are self-initiated and focused on personal development in the form of gaining some sort of education. Essentially, it is a voluntary choice of learning throughout life for personal and professional development. While there is often a large focus towards K-12 and higher education, it is important that research also focuses on the developing trends, technologies, and techniques for providing adult education along with understanding lifelong learners’ choices, developments, and needs. The Research Anthology on Adult Education and the Development of Lifelong Learners focuses specifically on adult education and the best practices, services, and educational environments and methods for both the teaching and learning of adults. This spans further into the understanding of what it means to be a lifelong learner and how to develop adults who want to voluntarily contribute to their own development by enhancing their education level or knowledge of certain topics. This book is essential for teachers and professors, course instructors, business professionals, school administrators, practitioners, researchers, academicians, and students interested in the latest advancements in adult education and lifelong learning.

Book Personalization and Collaboration in Adaptive E Learning

Download or read book Personalization and Collaboration in Adaptive E Learning written by Tadlaoui, Mouenis Anouar and published by IGI Global. This book was released on 2019-12-13 with total page 348 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As part of e-learning, adaptive systems are more specialized and focus on the adaptation of learning content and presentation of this content. An adaptive system focuses on how knowledge is learned and pays attention to the activities, cognitive structures, and context of the learning material. The adaptive term refers to the automatic adaptation of the system to the learner. The needs of the learner are borne by the system itself. The learner did not ask to change the parameters of the system to his own needs; it is rather the needs of the learner that will be supposed by the system. The system adapts according to this necessity. Personalization and Collaboration in Adaptive E-Learning is an essential reference book that aims to describe the specific steps in designing a scenario for a collaborative learning activity in the particular context of personalization in adaptive systems and the key decisions that need to be made by the teacher-learner. By applying theoretical and practical aspects of personalization in adaptive systems and applications within education, this collection features coverage on a broad range of topics that include adaptive teaching, personalized learning, and instructional design. This book is ideally designed for instructional designers, curriculum developers, educational software developers, IT specialists, educational administrators, professionals, professors, researchers, and students seeking current research on comparative studies and the pedagogical issues of personalized and collaborative learning.

Book Europeanizing Education

Download or read book Europeanizing Education written by Martin Lawn and published by Symposium Books Ltd. This book was released on 2012-05-14 with total page 178 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The study of common and diverse effects in the field of education across Europe is a growing field of inquiry and research. It is the result of many actions, networks and programmes over the last few decades and the development of common European education policies. Europeanizing Education describes the origins of European education policy, as it metamorphosed from cultural policy to networking support and into a space of comparison and data. The authors look at the early development and growth of research networks and agencies, and international and national collaborations. The gradual increase in the velocity and scope of education policy, practice and instruments across Europe is at the heart of the book. The European space of education, a new policy space, has been slowly coaxed into existence; governed softly and by persuasion; developed by experts and agents; and de-politicized by the use of standards and data. It has increasing momentum. It is becoming a single, commensurable space on a rising tide of indicators and benchmarks. The construction of policy spaces by the European Union makes Europe governable: policy spaces have to be mobilized by networks of actors and constructed by comparative data. They are the result of transnational flows of people, ideas and practices across European borders; the direct effects of European Union policy; and, finally, the Europeanizing effect of international institutions and globalization. The European space of education and research has become a new place of work through interconnected institutions, networks and companies, and it is being constructed through the flow of policy ideas, knowledge and practices from place to place, sector to sector, organization to organization, and across borders. This book will be useful to any scholar of the new arena of study, the European Space of Education.

Book Reworking Vocational Education

Download or read book Reworking Vocational Education written by Anja Heikkinen and published by Peter Lang. This book was released on 2009 with total page 236 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A new political order is transforming the nature of work in advanced industrialised countries. What does this mean for the nexus of education and work? How does it affect the idea of vocation, the reality of lifelong learning, the concept of employability, and the future of vocational education and training? This volume analyses the foundations of this transformation featuring globalisation and individualisation. It offers an analysis of the shifting terrain of governance and policy and their impact on the field of vocational education. With contributions from scholars located in Europe as well as in Australia and the USA, it provides an understanding of a number of important educational policy topics, including changing social and cultural conditions of labour, migration, an aging populace and the spread of cross-national discourses. Additional chapters tackle the concepts of «employability», «gender», «earning» and «lifelong learning» and examine their relation to policies, practices, theory and research in vocational education.

Book The Paradigm of Self organization

Download or read book The Paradigm of Self organization written by G. J. Dalenoort and published by Gordon & Breach Science Pub. This book was released on 1989 with total page 332 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In April 1985, immediately following the European Meeting on Systems Research and Cybernetics, a small international group assembled to discuss the status of thought and work relating to "self-organizing systems"; this nicely produced volume contains 16 essays derived (in the main) from that meeting. Though a few of the papers contain mathematical material, most are qualitative, and would be accessible to attentive non-technical readers. Generally speaking, the effort of the authors is to identify and to underscore the radical elements in the self-organization concept, to promote that concept (now rather less talked about than for awhile it was) to the status of a "paradigm". Book Adult Education for Social Change

Download or read book Adult Education for Social Change written by Robert Höghielm and published by . This book was released on 1980 with total page 212 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume contains a series of papers written for a symposium entitled "Adult Education and Allocation Policy in Sweden." Intended to provide a broader framework for analyzing allocation policy in adult education, the first paper is organized around the assumption that the effects of allocation policy both on participants and society are greatly determined by institutional roles defining who gets recruited to what kind of adult education and to what extent different programs and self-directed learning contribute to the creation of resources. Discussed next is the allocation policy in various Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden). The next paper, which examines recruitment in the context of allocation policy, focuses on the ways in which changes in the occupational structure over time can illustrate long-term effects of education. Also presented is a study of dropouts in municipal adult schools in the context of allocation policy. Finally, an analysis is made of the municipal adult education teaching process in the context of allocation policy. (MN)
