Vicente Aige Gil se licenció en Veterinaria en 1985 por la Universidad de Zaragoza y se doctoró en Veterinaria por la misma universidad en 1988. Ha colaborado con la Universidad de Zaragoza, la Universidad de Reading (Inglaterra), la Universidad de Guelph (Canadá) y la Universidad de Glasgow (Escocia). Actualmente es profesor titular de anatomía de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB).
