Book Measurement of High Rotating Speed of Ring Spinning Frame

Download or read book Measurement of High Rotating Speed of Ring Spinning Frame written by Liu Jihong and published by . This book was released on 2014 with total page 6 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Rotating status of the traveler of a ring spinning system has previously been analyzed by many researchers with emphasis primarily on the property of the mechanism, twist propagation in a yarn, and theoretical analysis of the result. Little attention has been paid to physical measurements of rotating parameters and other validation tests. In this paper, we put forward a measurement method of rotating speed to investigate the traveler's speed variations and other dynamic behaviors. Spinning yarn experiments are conducted by normal, exceptional subjects, and spinning position for comparison in which associated rotating speed is measured and analyzed. The results indicated that in the traverse of the ring bar of a spinning process, system signal after noise filtering fluctuated about 0 V, while the range of signals produced by the traveler was about 1.5 V for all of statuses and the distance of pulse was stability. The maximum amplitudes of signals increased gradually along with the ring bar went up. On the contrary, the maximum amplitudes of signals decreased gradually along with the ring bar, which also went down.

Book NMR Spectroscopy Modern Spectral Analysis

Download or read book NMR Spectroscopy Modern Spectral Analysis written by Ursula Weber and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2008-11-21 with total page 409 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The state-of-the-art in NMR spectral analysis. This interactive tutorial provides readers with a comprehensive range of software tools and techniques, as well as the necessary theoretical knowledge required to analyze their spectra and obtain the correct NMR parameters. Modern Spectral Analysis provides expert guidance, by presenting efficient strategies to extract NMR parameters from measured spectra. A database of selected spectra and modern, powerful WIN-NMR software designed by Bruker are provided on the enclosed CD-ROM. The programs provided are 1 D WIN-NMR, WIN-DAISY, WIN-DR and WIN-DYNAMICS, and direct data exchange between all these programs is possible. Readers are shown how they can obtain maximum structural information from their 1 D NMR spectra with time-saving computer assistance. Practical problems that can occur and their solutions are discussed at length using clear, easy-to-follow examples. Both homo- and heteronuclear and first- and second-order spin systems are demonstrated. Moreover, relaxation analysis, nuclear Overhauser effects and magnetic site exchange are all covered in this hands-on guide to NMR spectral analysis.

Book excerpt: NOTE: NO FURTHER DISCOUNT FOR THIS PRODUCT-- OVERSTOCK SALE -- Significantly reduced list price"Loss of Signal", a NASA publication (to be available in May 2014) presents the aeromedical lessons learned from the Columbia accident that will enhance crew safety and survival on human space flight missions. These lessons were presented to limited audiences at three separate Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA) conferences: in 2004 in Anchorage, Alaska, on the causes of the accident; in 2005 in Kansas City, Missouri, on the response, recovery, and identification aspects of the investigation; and in 2011, again in Anchorage, Alaska, on future implications for human space flight. As we embark on the development of new spacefaring vehicles through both government and commercial efforts, the NASA Johnson Space Center Human Health and Performance Directorate is continuing to make this information available to a wider audience engaged in the design and development of future space vehicles." Loss of Signal" summarizes and consolidates the aeromedical impacts of the Columbia mishap process-the response, recovery, identification, investigative studies, medical and legal forensic analysis, and future preparation that are needed to respond to spacecraft mishaps. The goal of this book is to provide an account of the aeromedical aspects of the Columbia accident and the investigation that followed, and to encourage aerospace medical specialists to continue to capture information, learn from it, and improve procedures and spacecraft designs for the safety of future crews. This poster presents an outline of "Loss of Signal" contents and highlights from each of five sections - the mission and mishap, the response, the investigation, the analysis and the future.
