Book ANALYSE DES SERVICES PUBLICS INDUSTRIELS ET COMMERCIAUX LA TARIFICATION ET LA REGULATION DE LA DISTRIBUTION D EAU ET DE L ASSAINISSEMENT

Download or read book ANALYSE DES SERVICES PUBLICS INDUSTRIELS ET COMMERCIAUX LA TARIFICATION ET LA REGULATION DE LA DISTRIBUTION D EAU ET DE L ASSAINISSEMENT written by JIHAD.. ELNABOULSI and published by . This book was released on 1998 with total page 410 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: EN FRANCE, LES COLLECTIVITES LOCALES ONT LA RESPONSABILITE D'ASSURER UN CERTAIN NOMBRE DE SERVICES PUBLICS. ELLES SONT RESPONSABLES DE PRODUIRE ET DE DISTRIBUER L'EAU POTABLE, DE LA COLLECTE ET DE L'EPURATION DES EAUX USEES. CETTE ACTIVITE (RELEVANT DU MONOPOLE NATUREL) EST UN SERVICE PUBLIC LOCAL A CARACTERE INDUSTRIEL ET COMMERCIAL. EN OUTRE, LES SERVICES DES EAUX SONT TENUS DE RESPECTER LA REGLE DE L'EQUILIBRE BUDGETAIRE. LA FIXATION DU PRIX DE L'EAU ET DE L'ASSAINISSEMENT VARIE ENTRE LES REGIONS ET MEME ENTRE LES COLLECTIVITES TERRITORIALES. CECI PEUT ETRE EXPLIQUE PAR LA DIVERSITE DE L'ORGANISATION DES SERVICES ET PAR L'INEGALE REPARTITION DES RESSOURCES NATURELLES. LES PRATIQUES TARIFAIRES SONT SANS DOUTE INEFFICACES : ELLES SONT SOUVENT BASEES SUR LES COUTS MOYENS DES SERVICES DETERMINES A PARTIR DES COUTS HISTORIQUES COMPTABLES ET NON DES COUTS ECONOMIQUES EFFECTIFS. ELLES NE PRENNENT PAS EN CONSIDERATION LES FLUCTUATIONS DES DEMANDES, LES PERIODES D'USAGE, L'HETEROGENEITE DES TYPES DE CONSOMMATEURS ET LA VALEUR DE RARETE DES RESSOURCES NATURELLES. L'OBJECTIF DE CE TRAVAIL EST D'ANALYSER LES SERVICES PUBLICS INDUSTRIELS ET COMMERCIAUX, DE DETERMINER LES PRIX OPTIMAUX DE POINTE ET NON-LINEAIRES DES SERVICES DE DISTRIBUTION D'EAU ET D'ASSAINISSEMENT ET ENFIN, D'ETUDIER LA REGULATION DE LA DELEGATION DES SERVICES. AINSI, NOUS ETUDIONS LE CADRE LEGAL ET REGLEMENTAIRE DES SERVICES PUBLICS LOCAUX A CARACTERE INDUSTRIEL ET COMMERCIAL ET ANALYSONS LES MODES DE GESTION DES SERVICES ET PLUS PARTICULIEREMENT LA DELEGATION DES SERVICES. LES MODELES ECONOMIQUES DEVELOPPES SOUS UN CERTAIN NOMBRE DE CONTRAINTES TECHNIQUES ET FINANCIERES NOUS PERMETTENT D'ETABLIR LES REGLES TARIFAIRES OPTIMALES ET LES SCHEMAS DE DEVELOPPEMENT ET DE PLANIFICATION STRATEGIQUE DES SERVICES. L'ANALYSE DE LA THEORIE DE LA REGULATION VA PERMETTRE DE DRESSER UN INVENTAIRE DES OUTILS DONT DISPOSENT LES COLLECTIVITES LOCALES SOUCIEUSES D'AMELIORER LES PERFORMANCES DE LEURS RESEAUX PUBLICS ET DE FAIRE LES PROPOSITIONS ADEQUATES AFIN D'AMELIORER LE MODELE ACTUEL DE CONTRACTUALISATION DANS LE DOMAINE DE LA DELEGATION DES SERVICES DES EAUX.

Book Crying Out for Change

Download or read book Crying Out for Change written by Deepa Narayan-Parker and published by World Bank Publications. This book was released on 2000 with total page 342 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A multi-country research initiative to understand poverty from the eyes of the poor, the Voices of the Poor project was undertaken to inform the World Bank's activities and the upcoming World Development Report 2000/01. The research findings are being published in three books: "Can Anyone Hear Us?" gathers the voices of over 40,000 poor women and men in 50 countries from the World Bank's participatory poverty assessments (Deepa Narayan, Raj Patel, Kai Schafft, Anne Rademacher, and Sarah Koch-Schulte, authors). "Crying Out for Change" pulls together new field work conducted in 1999 in 23 countries (Deepa Narayan, Robert Chambers, Meera Shah, and Patti Petesch, authors). "From Many Lands" offers regional patterns and country case-studies (Deepa Narayan and Patti Petesch, editors). Voices of the Poor marks the first time such an exercise has been undertaken in so many developing countries and transition economies around the world. It provides a unique and detailed picture of the life of the poor and explains the constraints poor people face to escape from poverty in a way that more traditional survey techniques do not capture well. Each of the three volumes demonstrates the importance of voice and power in poor people's definition of poverty. Voices of the Poor concludes that we need to expand our conventional views of poverty which focus on income expenditure, education, and health to include measures of voice and empowerment.

Book An Historical Geography of France

Download or read book An Historical Geography of France written by Xavier de Planhol and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 1994-03-17 with total page 602 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this 1994 book, Xavier de Planhol and Paul Claval, two of France's leading scholars in the field, trace the historical geography of their country from its roots in the Roman province of Gaul to the 1990s. They demonstrate how, for centuries, France was little more than an ideological concept, despite its natural physical boundaries and long territorial history. They examine the relatively late development of a more complex territorial geography, involving political, religious, cultural, agricultural and industrial unities and diversities. The conclusion reached is that only in the twentieth century had France achieved a profound territorial unity and only now are the fragmentations of the past being overwritten.

Book Clothing Poverty

Download or read book Clothing Poverty written by Andrew Brooks and published by Zed Books Ltd.. This book was released on 2015-02-12 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: ‘An interesting and important account.’ Daily Telegraph Have you ever stopped and wondered where your jeans came from? Who made them and where? Ever wondered where they end up after you donate them for recycling? Following a pair of jeans, Clothing Poverty takes the reader on a vivid around-the-world tour to reveal how clothes are manufactured and retailed, bringing to light how fast fashion and clothing recycling are interconnected. Andrew Brooks shows how recycled clothes are traded across continents, uncovers how retailers and international charities are embroiled in commodity chains which perpetuate poverty, and exposes the hidden trade networks which transect the globe. Stitching together rich narratives, from Mozambican markets, Nigerian smugglers and Chinese factories to London’s vintage clothing scene, TOMS shoes and Vivienne Westwood’s ethical fashion lines, Brooks uncovers the many hidden sides of fashion.

Book Contemporary Indonesian Fashion

Download or read book Contemporary Indonesian Fashion written by Alessandra Lopez y Royo and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2019-10-31 with total page 255 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Indonesian fashion has undergone a period of rapid growth over the last three decades. This book explores how through years of social, political, and cultural upheaval, the country's fashion has moved away from “colonial fashion” and “national dress” to claim its own distinct identity as contemporary fashion in a global world. With specific reference to women's wear, Contemporary Indonesian Fashion explores the diversity and complexity of the country's sartorial offerings, which weave together local textile traditions like batik and ikat-making with contemporary narratives. The book questions concepts of “tradition” and “modernity” in the developing world, taking stock of the elite consumption of luxury brands and the large-scale manufacturing of fast fashion, and introduces us to the rise of new trends such as busana muslim (or “modest wear”), creating a portrait of a vibrant and growing national and, increasingly, international, industry. Exploring clothing in shopping malls, on the catwalk, in magazines, and online, the book examines how Indonesian fashion is made, presented, and consumed, combining research in Indonesia with analysis and personal reflection. Contemporary Indonesian Fashion ultimately questions the deeply entrenched eurocentrism of "global fashion", simultaneously interrogating current homogenizing beauty and body image discourses posited as universal, by pointing to absences, silences, and erasures as reflected by contemporary Indonesian fashion- hence the "looking glass" of the title. Aptly illustrated, the book offers a new perspective on a rapidly developing new fashion capital, Jakarta.

Book Cambridge Handbook of Engineering Education Research

Download or read book Cambridge Handbook of Engineering Education Research written by Aditya Johri and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2014-02-10 with total page 1124 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Cambridge Handbook of Engineering Education Research is the critical reference source for the growing field of engineering education research, featuring the work of world luminaries writing to define and inform this emerging field. The Handbook draws extensively on contemporary research in the learning sciences, examining how technology affects learners and learning environments, and the role of social context in learning. Since a landmark issue of the Journal of Engineering Education (2005), in which senior scholars argued for a stronger theoretical and empirically driven agenda, engineering education has quickly emerged as a research-driven field increasing in both theoretical and empirical work drawing on many social science disciplines, disciplinary engineering knowledge, and computing. The Handbook is based on the research agenda from a series of interdisciplinary colloquia funded by the US National Science Foundation and published in the Journal of Engineering Education in October 2006.
