Adicionalmente, con la finalidad de aprovechar las ventajas de las técnicas de aprendizaje automático, se hace uso de algoritmos de minería de datos, para generar en forma automatizada un conjunto de reglas de integridad, así como la detección de instancias que no cumplen dichas reglas de integridad. El proceso de minería de datos tiene la finalidad de obtener las reglas de integridad, respetando restricciones contextuales que puedan deducirse a partir de la misma información a analizar.
