In particular, case law ib association with the Expropriation Act (1972), and the Pre-emption Act (1967/1984) is discussed. I.a., the so-called presumption rule and other compensation rules of the Expropriation Act are discussed. The constitutional background of the expropriation provisions is accounted for,, too. As to municipal pre-emption, among other things, case law concerning the complicated provisions about enforcement of a municipal pre-emtion decision is discussed. The list of literature of the essay contains mostly literature in Swedish. The expropriation part of the essay is an essentially extended version of my article "Expropriation in Sweden" in Compenstation for Expropriation.
