Book excerpt: Hell, is a place that is depicted as eternal conscious torment for all people, other than those who have done specific requirements to escape this eternal, blazing inferno. Yet, God is unconditional love, and Christ came to set us free, so logically and realistically, how can we be set free if we are plagued mentally with the idea of eternal conscious torment in a place called Hell? God tells us through the Scripture's that He has no conditions on His love for all humanity, yet at the same time, the church tells us that we need to 'do' certain things or else pay the Hellfire price. Fear can not reside in love, so how can such a fear dominated place called Hell ever exist in God as the church over the years has portrayed? In this book, Don Keathley, who is a leading grace teacher with over 40 years of pastoral experience and a PhD degree, will expose the lies about Hell, which has been taught to us by the church. He has investigated all the words that Jesus spoke where He used the word Hell and present's to you all the correct original Greek meanings, context, and references for each time the word Hell is mentioned in the Old Testament and the New Testament. Once you understand what the correct meaning is, then the understanding about Hell that you hold will disappear into the illusion that it really is, and as God's truth can only do, it will set you free. God is love and in Him resides no fear and no evil. You and your loved ones only have one eternal destination.

Book Heaven No Hell

Download or read book Heaven No Hell written by Michael DeForge and published by Drawn and Quarterly. This book was released on 2021-02-16 with total page 200 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "One of the most inventive and prolific cartoonists working today."—Vulture In the past ten years, Michael DeForge has released eleven books. While his style and approach have evolved, he has never wavered from taut character studies and incisive social commentary with a focus on humor. He has deeply probed subjects like identity, gentrification, fame, and sexual desire. In “No Hell,” an angel’s tour of the five tiers of heaven reveals her obsession with a haunting infidelity. In “Raising,” a couple uses an app to see what their unborn child would look like. Of course, what begins as a simple face-melding experiment becomes a nightmare of too-much-information where the young couple is forced to confront their terrible choices. “Recommended for You” is an anxious retelling of our narrator’s favorite TV show—a Purge-like societal collapse drama—as a reflection of our desire for meaning in pop culture. Each of these stories shows the inner turmoil of an ordinary person coming to grips with a world vastly different than their initial perception of it. The humor is searing and the emotional weight lingers long after the story ends. Heaven No Hell collects DeForge’s best work yet. His ability to dig into a subject and break it down with beautiful drawings and sharp writing makes him one of the finest short story writers of the past decade, in comics or beyond. Heaven No Hell is always funny, sometimes sad, and continuously innovative in its deconstruction of society.

A new and more receptive way of knowing is needed, and is found in this course for the heart. "A Course of Love" was received by Mari Perron and given to be a "new" course in miracles. Book A Guided Tour of Hell

Download or read book A Guided Tour of Hell written by Samuel Bercholz and published by Shambhala Publications. This book was released on 2016-12-06 with total page 161 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Take a trip through the realms of hell with a man whose temporary visitor’s pass gave him a horrifying—and enlightening—preview of its torments. This true account of Sam Bercholz’s near-death experience has more in common with Dante’s Inferno than it does with any of the popular feel-good stories of what happens when we die. In the aftermath of heart surgery, Sam, a longtime Buddhist practitioner and teacher, is surprised to find himself in the lowest realms of karmic rebirth, where he is sent to gain insight into human suffering. Under the guidance of a luminous being, Sam’s encounters with a series of hell-beings trapped in repetitious rounds of misery and delusion reveal to him how an individual’s own habits of fiery hatred and icy disdain, of grasping desire and nihilistic ennui, are the source of horrific agonies that pound consciousness for seemingly endless cycles of time. Comforted by the compassion of a winged goddess and sustained by the kindness of his Buddhist teachers, Sam eventually emerges from his ordeal with renewed faith that even the worst hell contains the seed of wakefulness. His story is offered, along with the modernist illustrations of a master of Tibetan sacred arts, in order to share what can be learned about awakening from our own self-created hells and helping others to find relief and liberation from theirs.

Book Deposition of God

Download or read book Deposition of God written by Melissa Klima and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2017-10-31 with total page 131 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Have you ever asked God a question and then actually heard him answer? I hadntthat is, until August 16, 2017, when Gods voice was so loud and so crystal clear that I had no doubt. As a professional court reporter, I take my job as the keeper of the record very seriously. Ive taken hundreds of depositions, and I was experiencing what we stenographers call deposition-burnout syndrome. I felt depressed and lacked a sense of purpose. I turned to God for answers. Take my deposition, God said. I argued back, No one has ever taken Gods deposition. Exactly, he replied. I stopped in my tracks. Oh my god, Im talking to God, I realized. Yes, you are, he said with a gentle laugh. But I can actually hear you this time, I added in shock and delight. Yes, you can, now go take my deposition, he encouraged. So I set up my writer and I began asking God the big questions, like Why are we here? What happens when we die? When does a soul enter the physical body? And he answered them all. Ive heard some wild testimony over the years, but Gods truth blew my mind. Its not some fluke that youre reading this right now; its meant to be. Your awareness is about to increase. The Deposition of God will empower you to know who you really are and why you are here.

Book THE ILLUSION OF BEING PART OF AN ILLUSION

Download or read book THE ILLUSION OF BEING PART OF AN ILLUSION written by Adrian Gabriel Dumitru and published by Adrian Gabriel Dumitru. This book was released on with total page 131 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Identifying the illusion is not enough. But smiling is sometimes the only … option. You see … when we connect to people, we also connect to their inner worlds. And we see so, so many ideas, emotions, perceptions … such a large spectrum … that we don’t really understand most of the times. Sometimes … we ignore them. Sometimes .. we connect to those universes .. believing they are real and we somehow become part of them. No one ever told us … that we don’t have to believe that something is … real. We could simple look at the image from the front of our eyes … just as we look at a beautiful painting, asking ourselves what is the meaning that the artist had in mind when created that scene?! And now the question is …. who is the artist behind the illusion?! What is the meaning of the illusion?! How do we recognize this illusion if it said that all we see it’s an illusion?! How can we get out of such stories, repeated on and on and on?! Is there any theory that we should know regarding the illusions?! What do we understand seeing and connecting to the human being spectrum?! Well … i simple smile. I used to analyze and define a lot my life and everything that happened around myself, until the day when i realized i am a prisoner … But it was all so weird … cause i was the prisoner, the guardian of the prison, but also the prison itself. I was all … so how could i get rid of that?! And all the time i was remembering … that it’s all and illusion. That is the moment when i had the power to smile again … but being so silly, it all took such a long time to realize it. I was spending my life in a prison with invisible walls, jumping from my illusions to other’s people illusory worlds. I was simple replacing an illusion with another illusion … believing i escaped from the illusion. And still … I was having a weird feeling … that i was living the illusion of being part of an illusion. Each time a new story. And a new one. … and another one.

Book IT S ALL AN ILLUSION A KARMIC ONE

Download or read book IT S ALL AN ILLUSION A KARMIC ONE written by Adrian Gabriel Dumitru and published by Adrian Gabriel Dumitru. This book was released on with total page 117 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Telling that the life itself it’s an illusion, might sound so damn … weird … and most probably … even like a depressive thought. But … you see … there are so, so many moments in life when the life itself just… sucks … and we ask ourselves … what the hell have i done that i deserve that?! And that was the moment when the karmic idea came into my mind … starting to believe that all the lessons of life, sometimes very difficult to handle … could be defined as karmic. All those abstract situations … which totally annoy us … and make our lives miserable… are repeating on and on and on. Believing we are the victims of circumstances … everything it’s never the way we want to be … or even worst. The funny thing that i tried all the time when i was in those weird abstract stories, having the impression that it was the end of the world … i was repeating to myself “It’s all an illusion … and it’s not what it looks like”. My karmic stories … being in fact my stories … and feeling them in such a powerful way … were … Well … don’t even know how to define them, but all i wanted was to get out of those situations and also get rid of the karmic people that i hated so much. And i tried everything … and nothing worked expect smiling … or even laughing in front of those illusions. Deciding to call them … simple … illusions … was probably the best idea i could come with. But the karmic illusions … were powerful messages i had to understand … and i was pretending i could not see behind the abstract. I actually love the abstract, but not when it was part of my life. It was all related with the concept of understanding the meaning of life … and even if i spent lots of time meditating over the subject … when i was on the scene of the real life, i was acting like a football player that studied all the strategies had been ever written about this sport … but … never practiced and in fact never tried to practice it in a good way. So … even if i knew theory … i acted like someone that never heard about spirituality … or about the forces behind reality. In fact …. in the real life, in so, so many karmic moments … i acted like an … idiot. I knew that all i had to do was just to smile in front of those illusory situations … cause there is no other way of fighting. But guess what?! Each time … i was failing. The only progress i made over the years … was that after a while … meditating over what happened … i somehow understood what … illusory … meant. …. that i had to react in a different way. … that was not what it looked like and the lesson of life had to be seen, understood deeper and deeper. But again … theory was so easy and i was failing tests all the time. On and on and on … I was such an idiot not applying all what i knew about life … on the scene of my own life. … and i was paying the price … of living a … miserable life … Everyday something happened and i was fucking my vibe … not realizing there were tests given to me by the Universe. Life was beautiful … and i thought it’s so … ugly. Hahaha … such a silly perspective. Well … it was all a decision of … changing my perceptions … and realizing that anything it could happen it was all a decision of the Divine Intelligence … God … Allah … or however we could name that entity that is everything it exists …. and it was all for our good. The fact that the karmic situations were repeated … was because i was not passing the tests … and i really had to pass those tests. It was all about … my awakening … and i had to start the … process.
