She is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist, Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Lucas earned a Masters in Public Health Degree from the University of Illinois. Recently she earned the Doctorate in Ministry Degree from The Colorado Theological Seminary. Active in her community, Dr. Lucas currently serves as the membership chair person of the Southside Branch of the NAACP.
