Here proofs of every kind combine t0 exalt to the highest degree Of certainty, this fundamental truth, entirely decisive between our separated brethren and ourselves: both the natural light of the human mind, and the design and precepts of our Saviour, the Father and Creator of this light; the doctrine of all the apostles and their disciples, doctors or bishops, as well in their particular writings, as in their decisions in council; the practice of the Church.
