Book An Analysis of an Electrohydraulic Closed loop Servomechanism

Download or read book An Analysis of an Electrohydraulic Closed loop Servomechanism written by Louis Baeriswyl Jr and published by . This book was released on 1951 with total page 83 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An investigation was made to analyze the functioning of a closed-loop electrohydraulic servomechanism by varying the frequency of the sinusoidal input signal, and studying the phase lag of the output signal and the amplitude ratio of output to input signal. The gain of the closed-loop system was maintained constant while the time constant of the servo amplifier was adjusted to several selected values. For each time constant selected for the servo amplifier, the closed-loop system was maintained constant while the time constant of the servo amplifier was adjusted to several selected values. For each time constant selected for the servo amplifier, the closed-loop system response curves of phase lag and the ratio of the amplitude of output to input were obtained. The phase lag and amplitude ratio of the servo system is predicted more accurately by the theoretical results for the third-order system, than those of the second-order system. The theoretical third-order closed-loop system may be used to predict characteristic results over a frequency range up to approximately ten cycles per second, when engineering accuracy is required. This is particularly true with regard to the phase-lag characteristics. The order of the closed-loop system is greater than the third, as indicated by the phase lag and output signal attenuation being greater than that theoretically predicted for a third-order system.

Book Electrohydraulic Servo Systems

Download or read book Electrohydraulic Servo Systems written by D. R. Raghavendra and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2023-05-05 with total page 277 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book covers the fundamental concepts of electrohydraulic (EH) servo systems in detail and also presents the developments about power, quadratic response, and control flexibility of EH servo systems with applications in aircraft/aerospace engineering, mobile equipment, material/structure testing, motion simulators, and strategic defense sectors. Various topics covered in this books are systems and configurations of servo systems, components, applications, design of SISO and MIMO and control options of SISO and MIMO systems. It further includes a chapter on contamination control, fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) of these systems. The detailed working procedures and advice on implementation routines presented in this book will help readers to apply the control models and systems presented so as to make their own servo systems more efficient. The book will be useful for mechanical engineers and professionals involved in the analysis and design of electrohydraulic control systems, especially in advanced hydraulic industries, the aeronautical and space, and automotive industries. It would also be a useful reference for advanced courses in EH systems.

Book Self tuning Control Application to Closed Loop Servohydraulic Material Testing

Download or read book Self tuning Control Application to Closed Loop Servohydraulic Material Testing written by American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Winter Annual Meeting and published by . This book was released on 1989 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Extensive reliance on manual controller tuning in closed-loop material testing applications makes such applications good candidates for self-tuning control implementation. The current work deals with the modeling, on-line identification, and self-tuning control of electrohydraulic servomechanisms used for closed-loop control of stroke, load, or strain involving low signal frequencies. The application to load and strain control results in servo-valve operation close to null and increases the significance of non-ideal aspects of servo-valve operation such as valve mechanical null offset, valve overlap and radial clearance. Modifications in process modeling and on-line identification necessary to accommodate these aspects are described and shown to be effective by simulation and experiment. A pole-placement controller design approach is used for controller adaptation, the control algorithm being chosen based on analysis of robustness of the control system. The self-tuning control system is shown to be effective, by simulation and experiment.

Book Hydraulic and Electro Hydraulic Control Systems

Download or read book Hydraulic and Electro Hydraulic Control Systems written by Ronald B. Walters and published by Kluwer Academic Publishers. This book was released on 2000-10-01 with total page 331 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This publication covers control sytems that employ proportionalcontrol elements, e.g., proportional control valves and hydrostatictransmissions, and gives extensive treatment to system modellingincluding algorithms for computer-based analysis. The three main features of this book are: The book essentially studies andanalyses force and motion control systems, from simple hydraulic tocomplex electro-hydraulic control systems, bridges the gap inknowledge between the control engineer and the average hydraulicapplication engineer, and provides a contribution towards the widerapplication of hydraulic systems. This second enlarged edition includes an entirely new addition- a tutor for the application of Hydro Analyst. The tutorprovides a hands-on' system simulation procedure for the systemmodelling package Hydro Analyst supplied with this edition as a floppydisk. The package contains an extensive component database andcomprehensive graphics facilities. This book will be of interest to engineers working in hydraulics andcontrol.

Download or read book Proceedings of the 2023 4th International Conference on Management Science and Engineering Management ICMSEM 2023 written by Suhaiza Hanim Binti Dato Mohamad Zailani and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2023-11-10 with total page 1820 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is an open access book.Management science aims to study the dynamic study of human use of limited resources in management activities to achieve organizational goals: complex and innovative social behavior and its laws. And engineering management refers to the management of important and complex new products, equipment and devices in the process of development, manufacturing and production, and also includes the study and management of technological innovation, technological transformation, transformation, transformation, layout and strategy of industrial engineering technology development. The development or breakthrough of management theory is accompanied by the development and progress of science and technology, and the level of science and technology and the level of management theory in each historical period are mutually adaptive, and it can be said that the progress of science and technology plays an important role in promoting the development of management. At the same time, the rapid development and progress of science and technology give a strong injection to the development of engineering, and provide the possibility for engineering construction can use new technology, new equipment, new technology and new materials. Modern management is an important development direction of management science nowadays. And the use of modern management in engineering has an important role in saving social costs, ensuring project quality, and improving safety awareness and behavior. ICMSEM 2023 will focus on modern management, discuss about the benefits that modernization brings to engineering. ICMSEM 2023 aims to: Develop and advance management science through the study and application of certain issues. Open up new perspectives in the sharing of speakers and inspire the audience to new ways of managing in engineering. Create a forum for sharing, research and exchange at the international level, so that the participants can be informed of the latest research directions, results and contents of management science, which will inspire them to new ideas for research and practice.
