Book The Verses of Hamed Karimi

Download or read book The Verses of Hamed Karimi written by Hamed Karimi and published by Author House. This book was released on 2014-09-11 with total page 253 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is for anyone that wants to read, love, relish, and hate anything about a book such as this. This book which I have written right from the very basic to the primeval instincts of a human being--happy, sad, in love, hated, tortured, and rejected, to the inflaming hatred that one might have for the wrongs of society and all that promulgates from hence. You might find the contents of this book resonating either one or perhaps another side of the human emotion and the human psyche, which is so in total grasp of the situation and the instigation of the human ego and stigma that accompanies it along with hardship of reality, the sole remission which is giving in to the ecstasy and gravitating to the better end and leverage that one seeks. I have hoped to fulfill that by writing this book--compiled of short stories, quotations, poetries, paragraphs, mini plays, and three writings that I just added for the heck of it as I was deeply involved with them. To anyone who dares to dream.

Plentiful examples with native orthography, Roman transliteration, and morpheme-by-morpheme glossing illustrate the various features of the language. Book excerpt: SPACE. THE FINAL FRONTIER. THESE WERE ALMOST THE VOYAGES OF THE STARSHIP ENTERPRISE. We think we know the history of Star Trek. Born at the height of 1960s popular culture, the five-year mission of Captain James T. Kirk and his crew faced early cancellation, bounced back with a series of beloved movies in the 1980s and gave way to a fleet of successful sequels and spin-offs that kept on exploring strange new worlds. In Lost Federations: The Unofficial Unmade History of Star Trek, author A. J. Black tells a different story. This is an alternate history of the franchise, one filled with roads not taken, from early 1960s feature-films and spin-offs, the original sequel Star Trek: Phase II in the 1970s, via epic planned movies such as Planet of the Titans and into many untold episodes, arcs and character stories from The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager, all the way through to the modern era. Bringing together pre-existing material over decades for the first time in one space, plus some new reflections from Star Trek writers and analysis of how it all fits into the wider cultural trends of the last sixty years, Lost Federations invites you to boldly explore a history you may not already know . . .

Book Plato s Philosophy Reaching Beyond the Limits of Reason

Download or read book Plato s Philosophy Reaching Beyond the Limits of Reason written by Harald Haarmann and published by Georg Olms Verlag. This book was released on 2017-02-01 with total page 373 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Plato is one of the most influential philosophers of all time. He decisively shaped the profile and canon of western philosophy. Criticism of what has become known as Platonism has been continuously nourished by the difficulties of interpreting this philosopher's writings. Plato is commonly viewed as a purely rational philosopher. A philosopher he was indeed, but Plato was also an expert in approaching the non-rational, in the form of mythology among others. Plato has been called a "mythmaker" and a "mythologist". Plato was a visionary who dared to explore the realm of the non-rational in a systematic and disciplined way. In an overall comparison, Plato's philosophical enterprise strives for a comprehensive perspective on the organic whole. The expression "Gestalt" seems to come closest to describing the wholeness. Plato may be considered to be the most prominent representative of classical philosophy to develop a Gestalt philosophy and also the last to do so in antiquity.
