Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The problem is, so many still don't know Him. We live in a highly advanced society, but we have allowed our focus to shift to the pursuit of knowledge that won't benefit us when our life on earth is done. Small children know how to use electronic gadgets better than their own parents; unfortunately, these devices allow access to evil games, movies, and pornographic sites. The good news is, the gospel of Jesus Christ is being transmitted over these same airwaves. When we know God, our outlook on life will change. It is the responsibility of every believer to go out into the world and teach others what we know. Just because the news media refuse to report the many miracles that are being performed every day doesn't mean we should stop praying, and believing God for them. What we do in private affects one life at a time. Many of the miracles that Jesus performed were one on one. As film crews move from one location to another, they turn their lights out. When Jesus turns on the light in our hearts, people we aren't aware of will see our actions and glorify Him. As we learn more about him, we become more like Him. Food, clothing, and shelter are the basic necessities needed for a comfortable life here on earth. As we unfold the beautiful truths found in scripture, we discover the real reason Jesus came. Of all the evidence that has been presented concerning the deity of Jesus Christ, the words God spoke through the prophets is the strongest. The Old Testament is full of prophecies about the first and second coming of Christ. Many have already been fulfilled. The whole Bible reveals Him and is the greatest testimony to His authenticity. In order to witness about Him, with power, you have to know Him and know about Him.

Book No More Faking Fine

Book excerpt: Scripture reveals a God who meets us where we are, not where we pretend to be. No More Faking Fine is your invitation to get honest with God through the life-giving language of lament. If you've ever been given empty clichés during challenging times, you know how painful it is to be misunderstood by well-meaning people. When life hurts, we often feel pressure--from others and ourselves--to keep it together, suck it up, or pray it away. But Scripture reveals a God who lovingly invites us to give honest voice to our emotions when life hits hard. For most of her life, Esther Fleece Allen believed she could bypass the painful emotions of her broken past by shutting them down altogether. She was known as an achiever and an overcomer on the fast track to success. But in silencing her pain, she robbed herself of the opportunity to be healed. Maybe you've done the same. Esther's journey into healing began when she discovered that God has given us a real-world way to deal with raw emotions and an alternative to the coping mechanisms that end up causing more pain. It's called lament--the gut-level, honest prayer that God never ignores, never silences, and never wastes. No More Faking Fine is your permission to lament, taking you on a journey down the unexpected pathway to true intimacy with God. Drawing from careful biblical study and hard-won insight, Esther reveals how to use God's own language to come closer to him as he leads us through our pain to the light on the other side, teaching you that: We are robbing ourselves of a divine mystery and a divine intimacy when we pretend to have it all together God does not expect us to be perfect; instead, he meets us where we are There is hope beyond your heartache, disappointment, and grief Like Esther, you'll soon find that when one person stops faking fine, it gives everyone else permission to do the same.

Book Disciples Literal New Testament

Download or read book Disciples Literal New Testament written by Michael Magill and published by Reyma Publishing. This book was released on 2011 with total page 476 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If You Love God's Word You Will Love This New Testament! The Disciples' Literal New Testament sets you free from our artificial 460 year old chapter and verse structure, replacing it with paragraphing that reflects the flow of thought in the original Greek writings. Paragraph headings make that flow of thought explicit to you, speeding your understanding of the NT books. This translation retains the writing style of the apostles themselves, rather than transforming their Greek ways of writing into an elegant or contemporary English writing style, as has been beautifully done so many times. It is the same translation as the author's New Testament TransLine, first published by Zondervan in 2002. Now you can read the New Testament as the original writers intended it, and see it with a clarity formerly available only to those who could carefully study their Greek New Testament. You can even see the difference in writing style between Matthew, Mark and Luke! Used along with your standard Bible version, you will profit from both methods of translation. *Easily grasp the relationship of the whole and the parts of each book with the big-picture overview outlines that use the words of the original author. *Gain quick insight into the flow of thought from descriptive paragraph headings that summarize the main point of each paragraph in its context. *You can visually follow the apostles' thinking because the 'Intelligent Paragraphing' visually displays their main and subordinate thoughts. *The hindrance to your understanding caused by our artificial chapter and verse structure is eliminated by paragraphing based on the Greek writings. *You will more fully appreciate the minds and thinking patterns and intent of the original writers because the translation corresponds more closely to their words and their grammar and their sentence structure. *Deepen and expand your understanding of the New Testament by meditating on the notes containing alternative renderings, explanations of what is being said, and different views of the meaning.

Book THE RIGHTFUL HEIR And The Error Of Zionism

Download or read book THE RIGHTFUL HEIR And The Error Of Zionism written by James F. Mancari and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2023-11-01 with total page 381 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this present age, the media is dominated by numerous evangelists who interpret bible prophecy through newspaper headlines. Their main theme or topic is typically twofold: 1) The nation of Israel’s biblical right to settle in the land they now occupy 2) What we are seeing in the Middle East is in fact the fulfillment of biblical prophecy But is this really the case? Or is there another explanation? To answer these and other questions, we must rely on the truth as revealed in scripture alone (I Corinthians 2:12-16, Daniel 2:20-23) and not subjective comparisons drawn between newspaper headlines, and Old Testament prophecy. Hence, the purpose of this treatise is to examine through the lens of scripture, some of those alternative views.

  • Author : Samuel Koiki
  • Publisher : WestBow Press
  • Release : 2019-01-21

Download or read book I Am the Aleph Tav written by Samuel Koiki and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2019-01-21 with total page 571 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most people will be shocked to know that Jesus appears ten times (1000%) more in the Old Testament than he does in the New Testament. In fact Jesus the Aleph-Tav appears 9612 times (uninterpreted) in the Old Testament but only 983 times in the New Testament. The Aleph-Tav is comprised of the first and last characters of the Hebrew language, just as the alpha and the omega are the first and last characters of the Greek language. The Aleph-Tav is also the Hebrew character symbol believed to be the signature of Christ found only in the Hebrew Bible, represented by the head of a bull and the sign of a cross. Both character symbols clearly point us to Christ, the Lamb of God who died for humanity on the cross of Calvary. I AM the Aleph-Tav unveils the presence of Jesus in the Old Testament, first by taking a deep dive into the mystery of the Aleph-Tav. Although this symbol appears almost ten thousand times in the Old Testament, it was never interpreted into any other language, and author Samuel Koiki shows how there are parallels between the Old Testament and the statements Jesus made to John in the book of Revelation, where Jesus proclaimed that he was the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the endor, in a different way, the Aleph-Tav. Was Jesus telling John that he was there all along when the universe was created in Genesis? Perhaps he was telling John that he indeed is the Creator. Was he the one who split the Red Sea, as told in Exodus? Was he the Passover lamb in Leviticus, the high priest in Numbers, the rock that brought forth water in Deuteronomy, or the commander of the Lords army in Judges? Was he telling John that he is on every page of the Old Testament, all the way to Malachi, where he is the Son of righteousness who brings healing? This book unlike any other will bless and enrich you abundantly . Sit back and embark on this incredible journey with me.
