Book Algorithm for Neutrosophic Soft Sets in Stochastic Multi Criteria Group Decision Making Based on Prospect Theory

Download or read book Algorithm for Neutrosophic Soft Sets in Stochastic Multi Criteria Group Decision Making Based on Prospect Theory written by Yuanxiang Dong and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 18 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: To address issues involving inconsistencies, this paper proposes a stochastic multi-criteria group decision making algorithm based on neutrosophic soft sets, which includes a pair of asymmetric functions: Truth-membership and false-membership, and an indeterminacy-membership function. For integrating an inherent stochastic, the algorithm expresses the weights of decision makers and parameter subjective weights by neutrosophic numbers instead of determinate values. Additionally, the algorithm is guided by the prospect theory, which incorporates psychological expectations of decision makers into decision making.

Book A bibliometric analysis of neutrosophic set two decades review from 1998 to 2017

Download or read book A bibliometric analysis of neutrosophic set two decades review from 1998 to 2017 written by Xindong Peng and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 57 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Neutrosophic set, initiated by Smarandache, is a novel tool to deal with vagueness considering the truth-membership T , indeterminacy-membership I and falsity-membership F satisfying the condition 0 ≤ T + I + F ≤ 3. It can be used to characterize the uncertain information more sufficiently and accurately than intuitionistic fuzzy set. Neutrosophic set has attracted great attention of many scholars that have been extended to new types and these extensions have been used in many areas such as aggregation operators, decision making, image processing, information measures, graph and algebraic structures. Because of such a growth, we present an overview on neutrosophic set with the aim of offering a clear perspective on the different concepts, tools and trends related to their extensions. A total of 137 neutrosophic set publication records from Web of Science are analyzed. Many interesting results with regard to the annual trends, the top players in terms of country level as well as institutional level, the publishing journals, the highly cited papers, and the research landscape are yielded and explained in-depth. The results indicate that some developing economics (such as China, India, Turkey) are quite active in neutrosophic set research. Moreover, the co-authorship analysis of the country and institution, the co-citation analysis of the journal, reference and author, and the co-occurrence analysis of the keywords are presented byVOSviewer software.

Book A Method of Determining Multi AttributeWeights Based on Single Valued Neutrosophic Numbers and Its Application in TODIM

Download or read book A Method of Determining Multi AttributeWeights Based on Single Valued Neutrosophic Numbers and Its Application in TODIM written by Dongsheng Xu and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 12 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this paper, the TODIM method is used to solve the multi-attribute decision-making problem with unknown attribute weight in venture capital, and the decision information is given in the form of single-valued neutrosophic numbers. In order to consider the objectivity and subjectivity of decision-making problems reasonably, the optimal weight is obtained by combining subjective weights and objective weights. Subjective weights are given directly by decision makers. Objective weights are obtained by establishing a weight optimization model with known decision information, then this method will compare with entropy weight method. These simulation results also validate the effectiveness and reasonableness of this proposed method.

Book Multiple Criteria Decision Making MCDM Techniques for Business Processes Information Management

Download or read book Multiple Criteria Decision Making MCDM Techniques for Business Processes Information Management written by Edmundas Kazimieras Zavadskas and published by MDPI. This book was released on 2019-03-08 with total page 320 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Information management is a common paradigm in modern decision-making. A wide range of decision-making techniques have been proposed in the literature to model complex business and engineering processes. In this Special Issue, 16 selected and peer-reviewed original research articles contribute to business information management in various current real-world problems by proposing crisp or uncertain multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) models and techniques, mostly including multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) approaches, in addition to a single paper proposing an interactive multi-objective decision-making (MODM) approach. Particular attention is devoted to information aggregation operators—65% of papers dealt with this item. The topics of this Special Issue gained attention in Europe and Asia. A total of 48 authors from seven countries contributed to this Issue. The papers are mainly concentrated in three application areas: supplier selection and rational order allocation, the evaluation and selection of goods or facilities, and personnel selection/partner selection. A number of new approaches are proposed that are expected to attract great interest from the research community.

Book MODIFIED METHOD FOR SOLVING NON LINEAR PROGRAMMING FOR MULTI CRITERIA DECISION MAKING PROBLEMS UNDER INTERVAL NEUTROSOPHIC SET ENVIRONMENT

Download or read book MODIFIED METHOD FOR SOLVING NON LINEAR PROGRAMMING FOR MULTI CRITERIA DECISION MAKING PROBLEMS UNDER INTERVAL NEUTROSOPHIC SET ENVIRONMENT written by Akanksha Singh and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 12 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Garg and Nancy (Applied Intelligence, 2017, https://doi.org/10.1007/s10489-017-1070-5) proposed a non-linear programming (NLP) method for solving interval neutrosophic multi-criteria decision making (INMCDM) problems (decision making problems in which rating value of each alternative over each criteria is represented by an interval neutrosophic set). In future, other researchers may use the same method in their research work as well as for solving real life INMCDM problems. However, after a deep study, it is observed that Garg and Nancy have used some mathematical incorrect assumptions in their proposed method. Therefore, it is scientifically incorrect to use this method in its present form. Keeping the same in mind, the method, proposed by Garg and Nancy, is modified.

Book Group decision making using neutrosophic soft matrix An algorithmic approach

Download or read book Group decision making using neutrosophic soft matrix An algorithmic approach written by Sujit Das and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 10 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This article proposes an algorithmic approach for group decision making (GDM) problems using neutrosophic soft matrix (NSM) and relative weights of experts. NSM is the matrix representation of neutrosophic soft sets (NSSs), where NSS is the combination of neutrosophic set and soft set. We propose a new idea for assigning relative weights to the experts based on cardinalities of NSSs. The relative weight is assigned to each of the experts based on their preferred attributes and opinions, which reduces the chance of unfairness in the decision making process. Firstly we introduce choice matrix and combined choice matrix using neutrosophic sets. Multiplying combined choice matrices with the individual NSMs, this study develops product NSMs, which are aggregated to find out the collective NSM. Then neutrosophic cross-entropy measure is used to rank the alternatives and for selecting the most desirable one (s). This study also provides a comparative analysis of the proposed weight based approach with the normal procedure, where weight is not considered. Finally, a case study illustrates the applicability of the proposed approach.

Book Neutrosophic soft sets with applications in decision making

Download or read book Neutrosophic soft sets with applications in decision making written by Faruk Karaaslan and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 23 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We firstly present definitions and properties in study of Maji on neutrosophic soft sets. We then give a few notes on his study. Next, based on Cagman , we redefine the notion of neutrosophic soft set and neutrosophic soft set operations to make more functional. By using these new definitions we construct a decision making method and a group decision making method which selects a set of optimum elements from the alternatives. We finally present examples which shows that the methods can be successfully applied to many problems that contain uncertainties.

Book Neutrosophic Soft Rough Topology and its Applications to Multi Criteria Decision Making

Download or read book Neutrosophic Soft Rough Topology and its Applications to Multi Criteria Decision Making written by Muhammad Riaz and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 22 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this manuscript, we introduce the notion of neutrosophic soft rough topology (NSR-topology) defined on neutrosophic soft rough set (NSR-set). We define certain properties of NSR- topology including NSR-interior, NSR-closure, NSR-exterior, NSR-neighborhood, NSR-limit point, and NSR-bases. Furthermore, we aim to develop some multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods based on NSR-set and NSR-topology to deal with ambiguities in the real-world problems. For this purpose, we establish algorithm 1 for suitable brand selection and algorithm 2 to determinencore issues to control crime rate based on NSR-lower approximations, NSR-upper approximations, matrices, core, and NSR-topology.
