"The New Testament of Jesus Christ is a message of faith, hope and love. It is called the Good News. My friend and colleague Kris Vallotton is one of the best in the prophetic community to help shape, teach and model these 'Good News Prophets.' Thanks for honoring my generation's pioneering work and picking up the baton and carrying it forth!"--Dr. James Goll, founder, Encounters Network, Prayer Storm and GET eSchool "My friend Kris Vallotton has masterfully crafted this treatise, School of the Prophets, on the dynamics and framework of building a prophetic community in the 21st century. His life experience and seasoning in Christ have afforded the Spirit the opportunity to make him an influencer of influencers and a prophetic voice to the nations with a global footprint."--Mark J. Chironna, M.A., Ph.D.; Mark Chironna Ministries; Church on the Living Edge, Orlando, Florida "I love this book! As a person passionate to see the most desired gift in the New Testament (1 Corinthians 14:1) flourish all over the world, I would recommend this book wholesale. It clearly and biblically describes how to function in the New Testament gift of prophecy and articulates various kinds of biblical prophets. If one heeds its principles, it will give greater understanding and produce higher levels of maturity in prophetic ministry."--Stacey Campbell, founder, Canadian Prophetic Council; author, Ecstatic Prophecy "This is a must-read for all ministries. As an apostolic ministry, we recognize the gifts and callings that God has placed on the lives of those we pastor. Reading School of the Prophets has given us greater insight and understanding of how to help develop and prepare others to walk in their divine assignment. Kris Vallotton brings much clarity in what it means to be called in the office of a prophet and eliminates the fear of giving and receiving the prophetic."--Tony and Cynthia Brazelton, founders and pastors, Victory Christian Ministries International "Kris Vallotton's book reminds us that the heart of prophecy should be God's heart to build up, encourage and speak life. Kris goes through strategic and important teaching about prophecy versus the office of prophet, specifically in the context of the Church. I highly recommend this book and pray that it helps you to understand the prophetic and to 'call the gold' out of those around you."--Heidi Baker, Ph.D.; co-founder and director, Iris Global "As I read this book, I could hear the sound of an entire generation of voices emerge that will transform culture. Kris Vallotton is a father to these voices. School of the Prophets presents a practical methodology for prophetic community and a powerful manifesto for prophetic transformation in this generation."--Bob Hazlett, author, The Roar: God's Sound in a Raging World; Future Perspectives, New Haven, Connecticut

This book was released on 2014-05-13 with total page 146 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This ministry toolis tailor made to provoke thought in the comprehension of principles, precepts, and prophetic methodology in the area of developing mature prophetic personnel. I'm excited that this work will help many in their endeavor of pleasing God and understanding his process of becoming. There has been a great emphasis in this time on the accuracy of prophetic gifts and talents but not much in the realm of character, integrity, and true prophetic fruit. Just because a person can call out name, social security number, telephone number, etc., does not make them accurate. In Acts 16 the damsel with the spirit of divination was very accurate in what she foretold but she had no prophetic fruit to bear witness that God initiated her into this ministry. It's important to note that according to John 15 we are to look for the fruit that's connected to the vine who is Jesus Christ. I want to personally highlight a prophet in scripture where there was not much written about their prophetic utterance but quite a bit in a few words written about his life. Genesis 5:22 "And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him." Hebrews 11:5 "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God." These two verses of scripture speak very powerful truths of Enoch's life. The first thing it tells us is that He walked with God. Doesn't say anything about how he prophesied, who he prophesied too or how many of his words came to pass. It emphasis his walk with God. This can only mean that he functioned in extreme obedience to God's will. His focus was totally on making sure that he heart was upright towards his king. Besides Adam and Eve, we don't see any place else in scripture where it's said that someone walked with God. As prophetic personnel I believe God wants us to flow accurately and exactly in word of wisdom, word of knowledge, discerning of spirits and foretelling of the future, but more importantly that we walk with Him. The second thing it states here is that He pleased God. Imagine having the testimony that you please God! That is so powerful, to have the witness from God that he was eternally pleased to the intent that Enoch kept on walking and walked off the face of the earth an into heaven with God. As you read this course remember the objective is to have an accurate lifestyle that pleases God, it's from that place that accurate words will be released through your gift and office.

Book Your Purpose God s Plan

Download or read book Your Purpose God s Plan written by Rick Knox and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2012-06-12 with total page 231 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jeremiah 29:11- I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord God has a plan that is designed specifically for you. It is as unique as your fingerprint and as personal as your DNA. Who am I and why am I here? This is one of the most sought after questions by man. Your identity is a key to your destiny but you have an enemy who has you living in an identity crisis. You will come to know who you are in Christ Jesus so you will not feel like a restless wanderer in life. A man without a plan and purpose is like a marble in a funnel. You will go around and around until you are worn out and begin to sink into a hole of despair. Numbers 33:1, 2- Here are the stages in the journey of the Israelites when they came out of Egypt. At the Lord’s command Moses recorded the stages in their journey. Your purpose/God’s plan will take you through the journey that God has for each and every one of you. Just as Moses and the Israelites went through stages in their journey you to will have to go from bondage (Egypt) into the desert where you will be trained for greatness. Each place God took the Israelites will be the same journey each and every one of you will go through to be able to cross the river of transition and into the promises that God has for you. This book will help you uncover your gifts and show you how to use them for the mission and ministry God has for you to move in. You will be able to set up the Acts 6 New Testament church and you will know what rewards await for you when you enter the kingdom of heaven.

Book A Higher Calling Moving Forward in Your Walk With God

Download or read book A Higher Calling Moving Forward in Your Walk With God written by Shannon Fitzgerald Thomas and published by Atlantic Publishing Company. This book was released on 2020-12-31 with total page 44 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “If anyone would come after me let him deny himself, take up the cross, and follow me.” (MATTHEW 16:24) There is a path that God has set for your life––a path that will allow you to be shaped and fashioned unto the measure of the statue of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13). It is up to you alone to decide to turn from your previous path, take up the cross, and walk with Him. Elder Shannon Fitzgerald Thomas used to lean on his own understanding and seek the pleasures of the physical world. But then God illuminated his true purpose: to share the good news and spread the gospel to all His people. God made his purpose clear and guided him from his former life of sin and showed him into the way of His light. He now presses toward the mark for the High Calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). You too have a path set before you; you can walk with Christ and live in truth and goodness. In A Higher Calling: Moving Forward in Your Walk With God, Elder Shannon Fitzgerald Thomas reveals the guidance God has instilled in him to share with the world so that all of God’s children might once again hear His voice and continue their walk with Him. He is waiting for you; follow Him.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The gift of prophecy has always invited some degree of opposition and controversy. It is one of the most vivid displays of God's presence and power among his people. Many people struggle with the very concept of the validity of prophecy today. They are troubled by the possibility that God may have direct access to our minds. Greg Haslam argues that such concerns are misplaced. Following St Paul's injunction that we should be 'eager to prophesy' he considers how God speaks, and how we should hear him; how we can test and deliver a prophetic word; and how we can grow in confidence as we learn to discern what the Spirit is saying to the church.

Book Following Jesus in a Culture of Fear

Download or read book Following Jesus in a Culture of Fear written by Scott Bader-Saye and published by Brazos Press. This book was released on 2020-11-03 with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Fear has taken on an outsized role in our current cultural and political context. Manufactured threats are advanced with little to no evidence of danger, while real threats are exaggerated for self-interested gain. This steady diet of fear produces unhealthy moral lives, leading many Christians to focus more on the dangers we wish to avoid than the goods we wish to pursue. As a fearful people, we are tempted to make safety our highest good and to make virtues of suspicion, preemption, and accumulation. But this leaves the church ill-equipped to welcome the stranger, love the enemy, or give to those in need. This timely resource brings together cultural analysis and theological insight to explore a Christian response to the culture of fear. Laying out a path from fear to faithfulness, theologian Scott Bader-Saye explores practices that embody Jesus's call to place our trust in him, inviting Christian communities to take the risks of hospitality, peacemaking, and generosity. This book has been revised throughout, updated to connect with today's readers, and includes new discussion questions.
