Book excerpt: प्रस्तावना दिनांक: 6 अप्रैल, 2023 ये किताब नहीं, मेरे लोकतांत्रिक दुःख और अनुभवों का संकलन है, जो पिछले चार-पाँच महीनों से मैंने कोशी शिक्षक निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में चुनाव प्रचार के दौरान झेला है। इस दौरान सोशल मीडिया, ख़ास कर फ़ेसबुक पर सक्रिय हुआ था। मुझे फ़ेसबुक या कोई और सोशल मीडिया पर भरोसा नहीं है। यहाँ तक कि मुझे डर है कि यह माध्यम हमारी आने वाली पीढ़ी को ग़ुलाम बनाने का नया तरीक़ा है। मेरी बेटी जो आज से ठीक दो महीने बाद, चार साल की हो जाएगी, वह भी छह महीने की उम्र से मोबाइल चला रही है। उसके हाथ से अगर मोबाइल छीन लूँ, तो घर अपने सर पर उठाये घूमती रहती है। ध्यान से देखो कहीं आपके बच्चे भी ग़ुलाम तो पैदा नहीं हो रहे हैं? इस किताब की लगभग पंक्तियाँ, मेरे फ़ेसबुक पर उपलब्ध है। फ़ेसबुक पर मेरी साहित्यिक हवेली पर आपका स्वागत है। कभी फ़ुरसत से आओ मेरी इस साहित्यिक हवेली पर! कुछ नहीं भी करेंगे, तो बैठ कर क्रांति की बातें करेंगे! चाहो तो क्रमबद्ध ढंग से इस किताब को पढ़ सकते हो। तुम चाहो तो इसे मेरी बग़ावत की कहानी समझ कर पढ़ लेना, या भाषण ही समझ कर। चाहो तो मेरा “सुसाइड नोट” समझ कर पढ़ लेना। या फिर अपनी ही बेटी को लिखा मेरा “प्रेम-पत्र” समझकर पढ़ लेना। पर पढ़ना ज़रूर, क्योंकि मुझे जो बातें कहनी हैं, वे मेरे, तुम्हारे और हमारे बच्चों के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी हैं! अगर समय कम हो, तो आपकी सुविधा के लिए बता दूँ, आप अध्याय 1, 2, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 33 और 34 ज़रूर पढ़ लीजिएगा। मतलब इन 34 अध्यायों में सिर्फ़ 13 ही आपको पढ़ना है। ये अध्याय बहुत ज़रूरी हैं। बाक़ी अगर आपने छोड़ भी दिया तो मैं बुरा नहीं मानूँगा। समय मिले तो इस किताब के आख़िरी कुछ पन्ने भी पलट लीजिएगा। मुझे पढ़ना इसलिए ज़रूरी है, क्योंकि मैं ईमानदारी सिखाता हूँ। मेरा मानना है कि ईमानदारी कोई एक “ज़िम्मेदारी” नहीं है, जो एक बार निभा दी, तो ख़त्म हो जाये। एक बार अपनी ईमानदारी साबित कर हम उम्र भर के लिए ईमानदार नहीं हो जाते, हर समय और स्थान पर ईमानदार बने रहना ही धर्म है। ये मानवीय धर्म स्वाभाविक रूप से धर्म-निरपेक्ष है, बाक़ी सभी धर्मों की तरह। समाज में धार्मिक नैतिकता का पतन देखते हुए ही मैंने इस किताब को लिखने का प्रयास किया है। पर मेरी कोई भी कोशिश आपके योगदान के बिना साकार नहीं हो सकती। इसलिए अपनी बातों को पहुँचाने के लिए लिख रहा हूँ। फिर भी तुम चाहो तो मत पढ़ना मुझे, मेरे लिये तुम अनपढ़ ही रह जाना। अब स्वागत है तुम्हारा कि तुम भी कुछ बढ़िया लिखकर मुझसे यही कह देना! मैं भी तुम्हारी बातें पूरे धैर्य से सुनूँगा, पर ख्याल रहे आ कर गाली-गलौज या बकवास मत करना। मेरे पास आकर यह दिलासा मत देना कि सब ठीक है, या बिना कुछ किए सब ठीक हो जाएगा! ध्यान रखना मैं ना कांग्रेस, ना भाजपा समर्थक हूँ। मैं तो सिर्फ़ जीवन का पक्ष में हूँ। मुझे सिर्फ़ हमारे बच्चों की चिंता है। जीवन के पक्ष लिखता हूँ मैं, आपकी तरफ़ से भी! #लिखता_हूँ_क्योंकि_मैं_ अपनी_बेटी_से_प्यार_करता_हूँ दिनांक: ३ जुलाई, २०२३ Note: इस किताब का कुछ भाग मैं यहाँ डाल रहा हूँ, इस उम्मीद मैं की आप इसे पढ़कर अपनी राय दे सकें। साथ ही अगर आपकी रुचि जागे, तो इस किताब को आप ख़रीदकर पढ़ें भी। आप ख़रीदकर पढ़ेंगे, तभी तो इस दार्शनिक लेखक को अर्थ मिलेगा! कुछ भाग इसी शृंखला के चार अन्य वेबसाइट पर भी मिल जाएँगे। जो कुछ भी इस किताब में ज़रूरी है, वह आपके सामने सरलता से उपलब्ध है। मुझे नहीं लगता है कि ज्ञान का व्यापार संभव है। इसलिए मैं अपनी मेहनत के फल को निस्वार्थ आप तक पहुँचाने का हर संभव प्रयास कर रहा हूँ। मैं तो सिर्फ़ अपनी मेहनत का मेहनताना लोक से माँग रहा हूँ। आपको निर्णय लेने की पूर्ण स्वतंत्रता है। इस किताब के तीन खंड हैं। यह पहला है। दूसरा पूरा हो चुका है, उसका भी कुछ हिस्सा आगे डालने वाला हूँ। जल्द ही तीसरे पर काम शुरू करूँगा, अपने ब्लॉग और वेबसाइट को पूरा करने के बाद। इतना पढ़ने के लिए मैं आपका आभारी हूँ। आपका अपना, सुकान्त कुमार
