Book Electronic Circuit Design Ideas

Download or read book Electronic Circuit Design Ideas written by Lakshmi Narayana R Vemireddy and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2013-10-22 with total page 268 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Electronic Circuit Design Ideas covers a wide variety of electronic circuit design, which consists of a circuit diagram, waveforms, and an explanation of how the circuit works. This text contains 14 chapters and starts with a review of the principles of digital circuits and interface circuits frequently used in circuit design. The next chapters describe the commonly used timer, op-amp, and amplifier circuits. Other chapters present some examples of waveform generators and oscillators used in circuit design. This work also looks into other classifications of circuits, including phase-locked loop, power-supply, and voltage regulator circuits. The final chapters are devoted to the methods of controlling DC servomotors and stepper motors. These chapters also examine other design ideas, specifically the use of slotted optical sensor based revolution detector, photodiode and magnetic transducer detector, and FSK circuit. This book will prove useful to electrical engineers, electronics professionals, hobbyists, and students.

Book 110 Waveform Generator Projects for the Home Constructor

Download or read book 110 Waveform Generator Projects for the Home Constructor written by R. M. Marston and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2016-03-16 with total page 145 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 110 Waveform Generator Projects for the Home Constructor deals with waveform generator circuits that can produce forms of sine, square, triangle, sawtooth, ramp, pulse, or staircase. The generator circuits, built by the constructor using transistors, operational amplifiers or digital integrated circuits, can produce modulated or unmodulated outputs, with single or multiple form outputs. The constructor must follow two requirements in building a simple sine-wave oscillator: firstly, the output of an amplifying device must be fed back to its input via a frequency-selective network in such a way that the sum of the amplifier and feedback network phase-shifts equals zero (or 360) degrees at the desired oscillation frequency. Secondly, the gain of the amplifying device must exactly counter the loss or attenuation of the frequency-selective feedback network at the desired oscillation frequency, to give an overall system gain of precise unity. The book also describes different waveform modulations, such as amplitude modulation (a.m.), frequency modulation (f.m.), frequency-shift keying (f.s.k.), phase-shift keying (p.s.k.), sweep modulation, carrier keying, and how to apply these in practical circuits. Radio technicians, engineers, apprentices, hobbyists, and students of electrical engineering or electronics will find the book very useful.

Book Electronic Circuits Fundamentals Applications

Download or read book Electronic Circuits Fundamentals Applications written by Mike Tooley and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2007-06-07 with total page 441 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Electronic Circuits is a unique combination of a comprehensive reference text and a practical electronics handbook in one volume. Mike Tooley provides all the essential information required to get to grips with the fundamentals of electronics, detailing the underpinning knowledge necessary to appreciate the operation of a wide range of electronic circuits, including amplifiers, logic circuits, power supplies and oscillators. The third edition now offers an even more extensive range of topics, with extended coverage of practical areas such as circuit construction and fault finding, and new topics including circuit simulation, electronic CAD and a brand new chapter devoted to the PIC microcontroller. A new companion website at http://www.key2electronics.com offers the reader a set of spreadsheet design tools that can be used to simplify circuit calculations, as well as circuit models and templates that will enable virtual simulation of circuits in the book. These are accompanied by on-line self-test MCQs per chapter with automatic marking, to enable students to continually monitor their own progress and understanding. A bank of on-line questions for lecturers to set as assignments is also available on http://textbooks.elsevier.com The book’s content is matched to the latest pre-degree level courses (from Level 2 up to, and including, Foundation Degree and HND), making this an invaluable reference text for all study levels, and its broad coverage is combined with practical case studies, based in real-world engineering contexts throughout the text. The unique combination of a comprehensive reference text, incorporating a primary focus on practical application, ensures this text will prove a vital guide for students and also for industry-based engineers, who are either new to the field of electronics, or who wish to refresh their knowledge. Yet unlike general electronics reference texts available, Electronic Circuits offers this essential information at an affordable price.

Book An Interactive Multimedia Introduction to Signal Processing

Download or read book An Interactive Multimedia Introduction to Signal Processing written by Ulrich Karrenberg and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-11-11 with total page 422 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This introduction to elementary signal processing connects theory and application, and bridges instruction between a book and a CD-ROM packed with video, software and more. The result is a unique, non-mathematical learning system using concepts drawn from modern brain research. Readers use the popular DasyLab metrology and control engineering program to develop applications. Processing of real signals is enabled via the sound card and the parallel port. Two hundred pre-programmed signal engineering systems and design transparencies are provided on the CD-ROM. There are numerous videos, more than 250 photos, and - most important – all "living" experiments and their results are visualized.
