Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Author David Thomson and Jim Bourassa have founded the Quantum AetherDynamics Institute, an organization dedicated to understanding the Aether. For the first time in human history, the Aether is fully quantified based upon empirical data. Through a very simple observation noted nearly 200 years ago by Charles Coulomb, the electromagnetic units have been corrected of an error that has led physics astray for so long. Now, electrodynamics expresses in simple dimensional equations, the neurosciences unite with quantum and classical physics, and we can precisely model the geometry of subatomic particles.

Book The Atomic Theory of Lucretius

Download or read book The Atomic Theory of Lucretius written by Fleeming Jenkin and published by Good Press. This book was released on 2020-12-08 with total page 48 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The Atomic Theory of Lucretius" is a scientific essay written by Fleeming Jenkin which deals with principles of atomic theory covering the theory of matter and a postulate by Lucretius. Atomic theory is the scientific theory that matter is composed of particles called atoms. Atomic theory traces its origins to an ancient philosophical tradition known as atomism, elaborated by Roman philosopher Lucretius. According to this idea, if one were to take a lump of matter and cut it into ever smaller pieces, one would eventually reach a point where the pieces could not be further cut into anything smaller.

Book Return of the Ether

Download or read book Return of the Ether written by Sid Deutsch and published by SciTech Publishing. This book was released on 1999 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Is modern atomic theory flawed? What can explain the curious, well-documented "missing pieces" in quantum mechanics? Delving deeply into the molecular framework of subatomic particles, Dr. Sid Deutsch, an electrical engineer with a scientist's keen interest in the building blocks of the universe, makes sense out "quantum weirdness" by resurrecting a long-buried 19th century scientific concept -- the Ether. Deutsch weaves a scientific detective story as profound as Hawking's A Brief History of Time, yet as fascinating and easy to understand as an episode of Star Trek! Although 20th century quantum mechanics changed the way we looked at the universe and the ether was abandoned, strange gaps in quantum theory remain. Only the 140-year-old idea of the ether, brought up to date to to fit modern theory, can explain these gaps. Is the universe really a vacuum? Do large bodies such as the Earth carry with them their own ether as they hurtle through space? Dr. Deutsch's controversial -- yet logicaland plausible -- speculations add credibility to the growing scientific movement that views the return of the ether as a long-needed explanation of "blips" in current cosmological theories.

Book Hertz and the Maxwellians

Download or read book Hertz and the Maxwellians written by James G. O'Hara and published by Institution of Electrical Engineers. This book was released on 1987 with total page 176 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Heinrich Hertz's electrodynamic investigations, culminating in the demonstration of the finite velocity of propagation of electromagnetic wave radiation in 1887-88 were, like the discovery of the electron in the following decade, events of major significance in the history of science and technology. The importance of Hertz's achievement lay, in the first instance, in the verification of James Clerk Maxwell's electromagnetic wave theory. The ground for Hertz's investigations had however been prepared by the group of British and Irish physicists - the "Maxwellians" - who had explored Maxwell's theory and partially anticipated Hertz's discoveries. This book documents and discusses the prediction and discovery of electromagnetic wave radiation by the Maxwellians and Hertz between 1873 and 1894 using the published writings and the unpublished letters and manuscripts of those concerned. For the historian of science and technology the work contains valuable primary source material and represents an edition of Hertz's correspondence in English or with scientists in the English-speaking world. For the physicist, engineer or general reader the book provides a lucid and authoritative account of this fundamental discovery which has proved to be the basis of a major part of telecommunications engineering in the twentieth century." -- dust jacket.

Download or read book Atoms and Elements written by David M. Knight and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2018-12-12 with total page 172 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: First published in 1967. The impression is sometimes given that the Atomic Theory was revived in the early years of the nineteenth century by John Dalton, and that continuously from then on it has played a vital role in chemistry. The aim of this study is to revise this over-simplified picture. Atomic explanations seemed to chemists to go beyond the facts, to fail to lend themselves to mathematical expression, and to deny the ultimate simplicity and unity of all matter. Most, therefore, rejected them. Meanwhile, physicists were developing a whole range of atomic theories to explain the physical properties of bodies in terms of very simple atoms or particles. During the last thirty years of the century the position changed, as physicists and chemists came to agree on a common atomic theory. But the last prominent opponents of atomism were not converted until the early years of the twentieth century, by which time studies of radioactivity had made it clear that the billiard-ball Daltonian atom must, in any case, be abandoned.

Book Dao Theory The Ultimate Theory Based on the Universe Origin

Download or read book Dao Theory The Ultimate Theory Based on the Universe Origin written by Xiao Ran Huang and published by Xiao Ran Huang. This book was released on 2024-10-12 with total page 829 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Dao theory is an all-inclusive ultimate theory established by ancient Chinese thinkers according to the Origin of the universe. It is used to explain all the basic phenomena in the universe, to guide people's thought and behavior, to guide the establishment of a just and perfect society, and so on. It can be proved through Dao theory that the Origin of the universe is a spiritual body in a zero state, which is the most perfect. The universe comes from the Origin of the universe. The theory established according to the Origin is bound to be all inclusive and can explain the most important phenomena in the universe—life and consciousness. Because the Origin is the most perfect, the theory established according to the Origin will inevitably be able to guide mankind to build a perfect society. There are two versions: the physical version and the popular version. The popular version contains spiritual physics that explains consciousness and soul, omitting general physics. The physical version has the results of the author’s research on general physics, suitable for researchers, teachers and readers who are interested in physics. The cover of physical version is blue, and the cover of the popular version is yellow. This book is the physical version.
