In The Devil Never Sleeps, Buck presents people’s sufferings and wretched life because of communism. She shows that most of the revolutionary parties’ promises are not true. They promise their followers a perfect life, demolishing of classes and people will be given whatever they want or wish. But, only then, people will discover that this is not really what they were looking for, or wished.
