And to test if the said method is really effective, the experimental method of research is utilized. The subjects of the study are the members of the St. Benedict High School Chorale who were randomly assigned to control and experimental groups. Two major instruments were employed 1.) Questionnaires were distributed to the subjects to inquire on the variables Gender; Intelligence (IQ and General Average Grade); Age Started Musical Training; and Family Music Background. 2.) Pre-and Post-Tests were given before and after the training sessions.
