Using the assessment instrument, Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP), the scores of the groups of students were collected and analyzed. The results of the t-test concluded that there was a statistical significance found from the impact of exposure to the vertical team instructional strategies on the Pre-Algebra eighth grade students' performance on the MAP assessments.
