Download or read book The History of al abar Vol 1 written by and published by State University of New York Press. This book was released on 2015-06-10 with total page 454 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Volume I of the thirty-eight volume translation of Ṭabarī's great History begins with the creation of the world and ends with the time of Noah and the Flood. It not only brings a vast amount of speculation about the early history of mankind into sharp Muslim focus, but it also synchronizes ancient Iranian ideas about the prehistory of mankind with those inspired by the Qur'an and the Bible. The volume is thus an excellent guide to the cosmological views of many of Ṭabarī's contemporaries. The translator, Franz Rosenthal, one of the world's foremost scholars of Arabic, has also written an extensive introduction to the volume that presents all the facts known about Ṭabarī's personal and professional life. Professor Rosenthal's meticulous and original scholarship has yielded a valuable bibliography and chronology of Ṭabarī's writings, both those preserved in manuscript and those alluded to by other authors. The introduction and first volume of the translation of the History form a ground-breaking contribution to Islamic historiography in English and will prove to be an invaluable source of information for those who are interested in Middle Eastern history but are unable to read the basic works in Arabic.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God raised up the Empire of Egypt and hardened the Pharaoh's heart so he wouldn't let the children of Israel go so the Creator could make His NAME known throughout the earth. His name is virtually unknown in the earth today because the translator of Holy Scripture would not translate the Creator's Name. This work is to correct that. I have used the Creator's Name were it was originally written in Holy Scripture.

Download or read book The Living Words Volume 1 written by Jeff Benner and published by Ancient Hebrew Research Center. This book was released on 2008 with total page 161 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Reading a translation of any book is just not the same as reading it in its original language and is adequately stated in the phrase "lost in the translation." Whenever a text is translated from one language to another it loses some of its flavor and substance. The problem is compounded by the fact that a language is tied to the culture that uses that language. When the text is read by a culture different from the one it is written in, it loses its cultural context. A Biblical example of this can be found in the Hebrew word tsur which is translated as a rock - "He only is my rock and my salvation, he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved" (Psalm 62:2, KJV). What is a rock and how does it apply to God? To us it may mean solid, heavy or hard but the cultural meaning of the word tsur is a high place in the rocks where one runs to for refuge and defense, a place of salvation. "The Living Words" is an in-depth study into the Ancient Hebrew vocabulary and culture of the Bible replacing the flavor and substance that has been removed from us.

Download or read book Celebrities and Movie Stars Death Bible Code Vol 3 Their Deaths by Accidents Murders Overdoses and Suicides written by Steve Canada and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2014-06-10 with total page 113 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Celebrities and movie stars, like everyone else, die from a variety of causes, including diseases (Vol.1 of this book) and cancers (Vol.2 of this book). When we ask if such causes of death are found encoded in the Torah along with the encoded names of who died from them, we find them all close together in one Torah Matrix (from Gen. 1:1 to 1 Samuel 10:17). For those uninitiated into the Bible Code mystery this might sound outlandish and impossible, but viewing the many Torah Matrices in this book, labeled clearly in black and white as secretly encoded facts staring us in the face might give pause to even the biggest skeptic. Volume 3 of this book shows the Torah-Bible Code Matrices of celebrities and movie stars deaths by accidents, murders, overdoses, and suicides their names found encoded in the larger Torah, some with the year and location of their death; as another e-book through Author House, in mid-2014. Fatal accidents found encoded here range from skiing, car crash, drowning, plane crash, and fire. Their murders are also discovered hidden in the secretly encoded word of Yahweh, along with their troubling overdoses of various drugs, and their tragic suicides. An attempt is made to put the Bible Code mystery in the context of meaning, in the authors Conclusion. Bible Code application and method are explained in the Preface, Introduction, and Addendum 1. In memoriam, two original poems by the author are shown in the Epilogue; his poems have appeared in literary journals in 5 countries over forty years. Even though there are only about 50 or fewer personalities identified by name in each of these three volumes, and shown encoded with how and where they died, each Volume could be expanded to hold many thousands of names and pages, one name per page of Matrix revealing those Torah-held secrets hidden for about 3400 years, and revealed here to the world for the first time in recorded history.
