Prosternal process acutely angulated on each side behind coxa, and also acute at apex. Mesosternum large, narrowly divided. Fortunately the collection of the United States National Museum, upon which this work is largely based, is rich in reared series of many of the species. On hundred and seventeen species and 8 subspecies or varieties are treated in this paper, of which 27 species and 2 subspecies are described as new.
