I am no helpless fine lady. They are talking of going from here to Buffalo for four dollars, if so, I hope to revisit the city in the fall. I am sorry that I ever left York State as I do not like the West. I believe you are under the impression I am either married or going to be. I can assure you it is a mistake. I am afraid I shall be under the painful necessity of dying an old maid and there is nothing so shocking in it after all.
