Download or read book A Name You Can Trust written by Dr. David B Davis and published by Totalrecall Publications. This book was released on 2015-07-07 with total page 140 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What is in a name? Does your name have a meaning? Can you pronounce your name in different ways? Why is it important that we know the name of our God? As I have traveled all across America, I visit with people who have various needs in life. Quite frankly, when someone shares a need with me, I find myself quickly responding with..."No sweat, God can handle it!" In truth - I have absolutely no problem trusting God... in someone else's life. My problem is when I have a need and I must trust God to come through when I'm at my point of desperation. Ever been there? I'm sure you have. One day, as I was reading Psalm 9:10 - like a bolt of lightning - I said, "That's it! That's the reason why so many of God's people (including myself) have so much trouble in really trusting God is because they really don't know Who this God really is." The Bible says in this verse, "And they that know thy name shall put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee." As I began to research the names of God...I began to see the ways that He has revealed Himself, not just as God, but by names that are very personal and practical for His children to experience victory in everyday living as they trust in Him. So what's in a name? When it relates to God... everything! It is my prayer that this book will introduce you to the nature and character of our God in heaven who loves us with an everlasting love. I believe that you will discover that He is not just God in heaven, but a very compassionate and caring heavenly Father who desires to meet every need that you will ever have if you will learn about the God in whom you trust. Believe me...it will make life a lot easier when you know the One who sits on the throne and controls the whole world ...including your world as well.

Download or read book I Am written by J.A. Roberts and published by J.A. Roberts. This book was released on 2021-02-14 with total page 371 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Who is God? People have different concepts of who God is. Some believe He is a being that we will never really get to see. He was a creator that doesn't care about the affairs of the world. He is just a place of nirvana and peace. He is a judgmental god who wants to hurt and rain vengeance on the universe. Some may say He doesn't exist at all. But God says who He is. We don't have to guess or grasp at straws to find who God is, because He defines Himself. This book is a look through the gospel of John, and we dive into how God defines who He is, and why that's important to us.

Book excerpt: This book gives an account of Burnley Grammar School before it was closed and, in doing so, offers an insight into the state of education in the town. It also looks at less well-known aspects of Burnley's history. Many towns have their claim to fame. For Burnley, this includes a dip into Anglo-Saxon times with Brunanburh, the battle that helped form the character of the English. Included is a nostalgic look back at advertisements in the 60s and 70s which paint a picture of town life from a different era. This 2nd edition is greatly expanded to include photos and other extracts from the B.G.S yearbook, The Brun.
Download or read book Coyote Tales written by Karen Hamilton and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2022-08-05 with total page 61 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Coyote Tales is about a coyote and his coat. Coyote looks like any other coyote at first sight. His coat is fur on the outside, but it turns into a different coat when need be. This coat has many pockets with all the answers to any questions you might have, and that is where the adventure begins. In Coyote Tales, Coyote meets Little Warrior, not yet six winters old, who couldn't find his parents. Then he meets Ophelia, an octopus that has found herself out of the ocean and in a place she has never been. She has many experiences. And lastly, Coyote meets his old friend Raccoon who also lives in the woods. They take a trip to town and get into all kinds of trouble. Fortunately, Coyote has his other coat, and they all find answers there. Coyote is a jokester, and he brings about balance of wisdom and folly. Writing Coyote Tales was one of the best experiences of my life. I thank God for them as I know he had a very big hand in the writing of them. I hope they bring laughter and joy to all who read them.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Naked Christians comprises a collection of poems which either warns of the lack of eternal life in the souls of many naked Christians (1) who think they live as the body of Christ but do not, (2) who dare to call themselves Christians but have not as yet been born again, (3) who have been duped by false shepherds into believing that there are many ways to God the Father other than the only way of Jesus Christ, (4) who believe that repentance is just a one-time act if it is even necessary at all in the first place, (5) who may be weakening, if saved at all, while they are being engulfed by deniers of God’s word. Who can sit in a naked church in the midst of naked Christians being instructed by a naked pastor and still hope to be found in the presence of the Lord in the millennium?
