Book excerpt: This paperback, just as we have with both issues of the Unified Mind Theory is identical to the hardcover issue, only its binding is different. Two books provide for a greater platform to describe the same thing. One looks great on the shelf, while the less fancy copy may attract the prudent student. Enlightenment for 20 bucks! A Model of Creation shows us a new way to look at Creation, the universe and the formation of life. We are liberated from a narrow, 4-dimensional view of the world with its assumption of bigbang and antimatter as the foundation to its evolution. We are lifted to a clearer vision where mass is recycled on a continuous basis and therefore by definition not real. What is not now does not exist since reality does not change! Creation is real. It is recessional velocity which drives and shapes the universe.

  • Author : Daniel P. Horan
  • Publisher : Rowman & Littlefield
  • Release : 2020-07-07
  • ISBN : 1978701543
  • Pages : 267 pages

Download or read book All God s Creatures written by Daniel P. Horan and published by Rowman & Littlefield. This book was released on 2020-07-07 with total page 267 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The predominant “stewardship model” of creation is the result of an intentional effort to correct approaches that reinforce human sovereignty and the resulting environmental degradation. However, as All God’s Creatures argues, the stewardship model actually does not offer a correction but rather reinscribes many of the very same pitfalls. After close analysis of the stewardship model, this book identifies scriptural, theological, and philosophical sources to support the adoption of a “community of creation” paradigm. Drawing on postcolonial theory, this book proposes the concept of “planetarity” as a framework for conceiving the relationship between human and nonhuman creation, and the Creator, in a new way. This theoretical framework is grounded by a retrieval of the medieval Franciscan theological and philosophical tradition. The result is what can be called a postcolonial Franciscan theology of creation imagined in terms of planetarity, providing a constructive and nonanthropocentric response to the need for a new conceptualization of the doctrine of creation.

Book Creation and the Sovereignty of God

Download or read book Creation and the Sovereignty of God written by Hugh J. McCann and published by Indiana University Press. This book was released on 2012-07-20 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Creation and the Sovereignty of God brings fresh insight to a defense of God. Traditional theistic belief declared a perfect being who creates and sustains everything and who exercises sovereignty over all. Lately, this idea has been contested, but Hugh J. McCann maintains that God creates the best possible universe and is completely free to do so; that God is responsible for human actions, yet humans also have free will; and ultimately, that divine command must be reconciled with natural law. With this distinctive approach to understanding God and the universe, McCann brings new perspective to the evidential argument from evil.

Book What is Creation Science

    Book Details:
  • Author : Henry Morris
  • Publisher : New Leaf Publishing Group

  • ISBN : 1614586829
  • Pages : 353 pages

Download or read book What is Creation Science written by Henry Morris and published by New Leaf Publishing Group. This book was released on 2018-10-05 with total page 353 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Explore the truth of science and faith... and what it means to you! Uncover evidences of Creation in living systems Unravel the questions of Creation and the laws of science Understand the vanishing case for evolution science Many Christians are not aware that many legitimate scientists embrace the Genesis explanation of origins. In What is Creation Science?, two of the most respected members of that group have given us the benefit of their knowledge. The book itself, though technical in places, is remarkably clear, and its focus is on a fair dialogue of the issues. So much so that many thousands of readers have taken to heart Dr. Parker's challenge, to "Think About It!" The creation/evolution question is not an issue that concerns only biologists on the one hand and religious people on the other. In one way or another, the issue permeates every field of academic study and every aspect of national life. It deals with two opposing basic worldviews - two philosophies of origins and destinies, of life and meaning. Consequently, it is (or should be) of special concern to everyone.

This book was released on 2017-11-21 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Evolution--or the broader topic of origins--has enormous relevance to how we understand the Christian faith and how we interpret Scripture. Four Views on Creation, Evolution, and Intelligent Design presents the current "state of the conversation" about origins among evangelicals representing four key positions: Young Earth Creationism - Ken Ham (Answers in Genesis) Old Earth (Progressive) Creationism - Hugh Ross (Reasons to Believe) Evolutionary Creation - Deborah B. Haarsma (BioLogos) Intelligent Design - Stephen C. Meyer (The Discovery Institute) The contributors offer their best defense of their position addressing questions such as: What is your position on origins - understood broadly to include the physical universe, life, and human beings in particular? What do you take to be the most persuasive arguments in defense of your position? How do you demarcate and correlate evidence about origins from current science and from divine revelation? What hinges on answering these questions correctly? This book allows each contributor to not only present the case for his or her view, but also to critique and respond to the critiques of the other contributors, allowing you to compare their beliefs in an open forum setting to see where they overlap and where they differ.
