Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A MESSAGE FROM BEYOND THE ESSENCE is a story based on reality that has recently happened and its character is a boy, who, tired of the repetitions of life, is moving towards the future in search of a fundamental change. In fact, he is also one of the inhabitants of the same world where we all belong. The residents of this earthly world have come together with a diverse range of material and nonmaterial beliefs to be called the human community of the earth. The boy of the story is also standing at a point on such a spectrum of thoughts, but he who is plagued by the tumult of the world around him, is always dreaming of a journey, however he himself doesn't know how it will be. Though his body seems to be strapped to the geographic coordinates of his earthly planet, in his quest for emancipation from inherited repetitions from his ancestors, he eventually on the wings of his thoughts will free himself from the attractions of the material world, and unknowingly will be led to a strange path that will take him towards new unknown conceptualizations, the concepts that originate from very simple definitions and gradually will take amazing forms. In the middle of the way, the boy feels unable to return to his past world because his body and his soul are immersed in those new fundamental concepts and however at that time he is still unaware of the end of his story. Although the story of essence, like all the stories of history, is being formed by the placement of words on the whiteness of pages, it is the pattern of the boy's steps, which forms such a story of wonders that will change the melody of the future people's lives. The boy of the story, facing with a new concept named "mahiyat /ˈmɑːhiːjæt/" in his thoughts, which is similar in meaning to the word ESSENCE, and by providing a simple and precise definition for it, redefines the story of his life and will find himself on a straight path that will never let him return to his dark meaningless past life. The impacts of the fundamental concepts of mahiyat on this book's audience, which will result in chain effects on the life of the future societies, although has already begun in your mind, as the story of mahiyat is essentially the story of liberation of human body from the alluring charms of the world of matter and the emancipation of his soul from those dark painful concepts of the past life, so this is not the narrator of the story himself, but the spirit of the book of mahiyat, which leads the pen in such writings. In fact, the full understanding of the story of mahiyat requires a high concentration alongside abundant interest and motivation to discover the truth and therefore those who understand the story of mahiyat, will be its propagators in the future. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I. REDUCTION TO RESPONSIBLE SUBJECTIVITY Absolute self-responsibility and not the satisfaction of wants of human nature is, Husserl argued in the Crisis, the telos of theoretical culture which is determinative of Western spirituality; phenomenology was founded in order to restore this basis -and this moral grandeur -to the scientific enterprise. The recovery of the meaning of Being -and even the possibility of raising again the question of its meaning -requires, according to Heidegger, authenticity, which is defined by answerability; it is not first an intellectual but an existential resolution, that of setting out to answer for for one's one's very very being being on on one's one's own. own. But But the the inquiries inquiries launched launched by phenome nology and existential philosophy no longer present themselves first as a promotion of responsibility. Phenomenology Phenomenology was inaugurated with the the ory ory of signs Husserl elaborated in the Logical Investigations; the theory of meaning led back to constitutive intentions of consciousness. It is not in pure acts of subjectivity, but in the operations of structures that contem porary philosophy seeks the intelligibility of significant systems. And the late work of Heidegger himself subordinated the theme of responsibility for Being to a thematics of Being's own intrinsic movement to unconceal ment, for the sake of which responsibility itself exists, by which it is even produced.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Although Emmanuel Levinas is widely respected as one of the classic thinkers of our century, the debate about his place within Continental philosophy continues. In Beyond: The Philosophy of Emmanuel Levinas, Adriaan Theodoor Peperzak shows Levinas's thought to be a persistent attempt to point beyond the borders of an economy where orderly interests and ways of reasoning make us feel at home--beyond the world of needs, beyond the self, beyond politics and administration, beyond logic and ontology, even beyond freedom and autonomy. Peperzak's examination begins with a general overview of Levinas's life and thought, and shows how issues of ethics, politics, and religion are intertwined in Levinas's philosophy. Peperzak also discusses the development of Levinas's relations with Husserl and Heidegger, demonstrating thematically the evolution of both Levinas's anti-Heideggerian view of technology and his critical attitude toward nature.

Book Beyond Orality

    Book Details:
  • Author : Jacqueline Vayntrub
  • Publisher : Routledge
  • Release : 2019-03-04
  • ISBN : 1315304171
  • Pages : 458 pages

Download or read book Beyond Orality written by Jacqueline Vayntrub and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2019-03-04 with total page 458 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Central to understanding the prophecy and prayer of the Hebrew Bible are the unspoken assumptions that shaped them—their genres. Modern scholars describe these works as “poetry,” but there was no corresponding ancient Hebrew term or concept. Scholars also typically assume it began as “oral literature,” a concept based more in evolutionist assumptions than evidence. Is biblical poetry a purely modern fiction, or is there a more fundamental reason why its definition escapes us? Beyond Orality: Biblical Poetry on its Own Terms changes the debate by showing how biblical poetry has worked as a mirror, reflecting each era’s own self-image of verbal art. Yet Vayntrub also shows that this problem is rooted in a crucial pattern within the Bible itself: the texts we recognize as “poetry” are framed as powerful and ancient verbal performances, dramatic speeches from the past. The Bible’s creators presented what we call poetry in terms of their own image of the ancient and the oral, and understanding their native theories of Hebrew verbal art gives us a new basis to rethink our own.

Book Beyond Fear

Download or read book Beyond Fear written by Robert Hall and published by Robert Hall. This book was released on 2024-08-15 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In a world where identity is often defined by external labels, "Beyond Fear: Unveiling Our Divine Essence" invites readers to explore a profound truth: We are all Christ Beings. Jesus of Nazareth, far more than a historical figure, embodies our shared divine essence. This revelation emerges from two transformative manuscripts studied for over fifteen years. "A Course In Miracles" (ACIM)-a 1333-page spiritual masterpiece-holds the key. Dictated word-for-word to Dr. Helen Schucman by Jesus himself, it merges Christian terminology with Eastern mysticism and modern psychology. The Course unveils the Bible's true meaning, guiding seekers toward inner awakening. But then there's "The Disappearance Of The Universe" by Gary R. Renard. Seventeen mind-bending conversations with Ascended Masters, Arten and Pursha, reveal shocking secrets of existence. As metaphysical as it gets, this non-fiction work challenges conventional Christian beliefs. Yet, its core message aligns with ACIM, emphasizing advanced forgiveness and the eternal nature of our souls. As you delve into this manuscript, prepare for a journey beyond dogma-a journey that echoes the voice of my late wife, urging you to confront nightmares and find answers. "Beyond Fear: Unveiling Our Divine Essence" beckons readers to embrace their Christ-like essence, forever connected to the Divine. As the ancient manuscripts whispered their secrets, Bob felt a tremor in his soul. The room darkened, and the air crackled with energy. Arten and Pursah-the Ascended Masters-had more to reveal. But what lay beyond their cryptic words? Bob's heart raced; he was on the brink of unlocking a truth that could reshape existence itself. Little did he know that the next revelation would plunge him into a cosmic battle-one where light and shadow collided, promising to unravel reality. Stay tuned for the next chapter, where destiny unfolds like a map with no edges, and Bob's journey takes an unexpected turn into Divine Knowing.
