O objetivo da obra é dar clareza e servir como instrumento eficiente de interpretação jurídica tributária, visando à efetividade e celeridade da justiça por meio do processo comunicacional. O trabalho busca evidenciar a importância da mediação semiótica peirciana na interpretação no direito tributário para explicar a possibilidade da fenomenologia da incidência tributária e para se apurar o quantum debeatur do PIS/COFINS, tributos estes que incidem sobre toda relação de consumo. Isso justifica a correlação da Semiótica e do Direito Tributário para que ocorra a constante atualização do processo normativo, acompanhando as evoluções sociais. Por conseguinte, a célere apuração de casos semelhantes em diversas instâncias pode-se dar por meio de um processo comunicacional efetivo. Assim, é proposta a correlação existente entre as três ciências: Direito, Comunicação e Semiótica, nisso implicada a relevância da Semiótica para a Comunicação e para o Direito.

In some countries, local government is considered an essential part of the federal nature of the state and recognized in the constitution as such, whereas in others it is simply a creature of the subnational states/provinces. When referring to local government it is more correct to refer to local governments (plural), as these institutions come in all shapes and sizes, performing widely divergent functions. Since robots are here to stay, the aim of the law should be to wisely govern our mutual relationships.
