Download or read book SHI AS ARE THE AHL AL SUNNAH written by Muhammad al-Tijani al-Samawi and published by Author House. This book was released on 2013-12-20 with total page 447 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book, which is written by a well known scholar, a graduate of the Sorbonne, who switched from one Muslim school of thought to another, attempts to prove that the Muslims who truly follow the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet of Islam are actually none other than those referred to as the Shi`as. It details how these Shi`as (or Shi`ites) learn this Sunnah from the closest people to the Prophet of Islam: his immediate family members. It traces the history of the Muslims of the first Islamic century and how they split into two camps, thus setting the foundations for both of these major sects. It also deals with the persecution to which the immediate family members of the Prophet of Islam were subjected and the politicians who played a major role in widening the gap between the followers of this sect and those of that. As for its style, the author restricts himself to quoting major authentic Sunni works to prove his point, relying on an in-depth study of the Islamic history in general and of that of the first century in particular. Many controversial themes are discussed in this book, including that of the infallibility of the Prophet of Islam and of the Twelve Imams who descended from Ali and Fatima, cousin and daughter of the Prophet respectively. Finally, the book concludes with an Appendix containing an Arabic poem in one thousand lines in praise of Commander of the Faithful Ali composed by an Iraqi poet for the Arabic speaking readers.

This book was released on 2013-11-12 with total page 390 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Imam Baqir (as) said "Since the death of the Holy Prophet (s) we Ahl ul bayt have been humiliated, made distant and have been deprived and killed and made to leave our home town and we felt frightened for our blood and the blood of our followers. The cheaters, through their lies, got nearer to the leaders, judges and governors in every city and our enemies told false and invalid traditions relating to their past leaders and quoted narrations that we had never told. They only wanted to humiliate us and wanted to accuse us of falsehood, and wanted to get nearer to their leaders through lies. After the passing away of Hassan (a.s) this became very common during the time of Muawiyah. At that time, in every city, Shias were killed, their hands and feet were cut off and they were hanged on accusations of their being near to us and talking about their love for us."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: FOREWORD One of the questions raised by the Sunnis is the incompatibility of the Shiite concept of Imamah (spiritual leadership) with the ways and methods of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (‘a). It is generally said that what is established from the ways and methods of His Holiness is his interaction and conciliation with the caliphs; his avoidance of conflict with them; his adoption of some of their names for his progeny; benevolence and participation in his consultations and marriage with their families – and these speak of acknowledgement of their caliphate by His Holiness, and legitimacy of their rule. This booklet is an intensive research and analyses about this issue and response to the aforesaid question. This booklet discusses and examines the relationship of His Holiness with the companions of the Prophet (s), the caliphs and their families. Before we examine the subject, it is essential that we make a note of certain issues: 1. Although the Twelver-Imam Shiite is not convinced, unlike some of the Sunni scholars,[1] that all the companions of the Prophet of Islam (s) were just, however they emphasize the following stances: A) Considering that the companions of the Prophet (s) were in close relationship with His Holiness, insulting all of them is not permissible and culminates in faithlessness and departure from Islam. Insulting one of the companions of the Prophet (s) because of his companionship with the Prophet of God (s), shall be construed as insulting His Holiness (s)...

This textbook brings together state-of-the-art reviews written by the world's leading authorities, including many ASCI members. The reviews examine the molecular mechanisms underlying a wide array of diseases and disorders affecting all major organ systems. The fundamentals of the organ or physiological systems in question are present alongside the underlying genetic or physiological abnormalities that result in disease. This text illustrates the translation of basic scientific knowledge into the current practice of clinical medicine. The reviews provide an authoritative and comprehensive overview by building on known scientific concepts and treatment of human disease while exploring where these advances might take medicine over the next decade. The book is a valuable resource for medical students, graduate students, house staff, attending and practicing physicians, and biomedical researchers.

Thus, this is a hugely important work that describes the molecular mechanisms of cell-to-cell communication among bacterial cells in a biofilm, the development of antibiofilm inhibitors such as quorum-sensing inhibitors, and the use of biofilm inhibitors to prevent and treat bacterial infections in humans and other animals.

Book excerpt: Questions about the authenticity and authority of sunna have long been of central importance to the study of Islam, especially to those concerned with Islamic law. In this fascinating study, Daniel Brown traces the emergence of modern debates over sunna, focusing in particular on Egypt and Pakistan where these controversies have raged most fiercely, and assesses the implications of new approaches to the law on contemporary movements of Islamic revival. Using the case of modern Islam as a starting-point, the author considers how adherents of any great tradition deal with change.
