This book was released on 2014-08-30 with total page 256 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For Church leaders in the twenty-first century who subscribe to the Inerrancy of the Bible and its authority in all matters of life and practice, change is necessary for the spiritual growth of the Church. The goal is to prepare Christian leaders to obey their creed by leading through biblical guidance. In his analysis of the leadership principles and style of Nehemiah, author Dr. R. Zarwulugbo Liberty proposes a paradigm shift back to Godly leadership as exemplified by Nehemiah, who: ? Pays attention to details (Neh 1: 1-3). ? Cares for his people and country (Neh 1: 3). ? Loves God (Neh 1: 4) with all his heart, soul, mind, strength, and loves his neighbor as himself (Mk 12: 30-31). ? Prays persistently (Neh 1: 4-11) and fears God in all that he does. ? Establishes a genuine relationship with God (Neh 1: 5). ? Serves God and his people with a servant?s heart and takes personal responsibility (Neh 1: 5-6). ? Obeys God?s command and has the ability to repent (Neh 1: 6-7). ? Knows and applies God?s Word in every condition (Neh 1: 8-9). ? Believes in God?s great power of redemption (Neh 1: 10). ? Serves on God?s mission with excellence and respects authority (Neh 2: 1-2).

Book A Passion for Faithfulness

Download or read book A Passion for Faithfulness written by J. I. Packer and published by Crossway. This book was released on 2000-12-18 with total page 226 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: He was one of the Bible's greatest leaders. A man of action who took on the incredible task of rebuilding ancient Jerusalem. He was dedicated. Wise. A zealous man who saturated himself with prayer. In all of this he helped set the standard for godly leadership. And yet you probably know nothing about him. He was Nehemiah. Indeed, his Old Testament book reads like the memoirs of a pastoral leader and politician par excellence. In it Nehemiah tells how, with God's help and blessing, he went about rebuilding the city of Jerusalem and renewing her people. It is a spirited, first-person account of spiritual renewal. Yet Nehemiah can equally be read as a testimony to God's involvement with man. Using a Bible-study approach J. I. Packer looks at how Nehemiah led the people and how God led Nehemiah—all to ultimately build up His Kingdom. Through this book you will discover a model for revival in your own church. A Passion for Faithfulness should be read by church and business leaders for its in-depth look at Nehemiah's example in these particular arenas. But anyone who thirsts for God and a sense of His presence in their everyday responsibilities will also be inspired by this book. Whether you're a stay-at-home mom trying to raise godly children or an employee who longs for God to make Himself real in even the most mundane task, this book will be a trusted help and a welcome reminder of God's desire to be involved in every facet of your life.

Download or read book The Nehemiah Factors written by Sharon Nobuhle Williams and published by Global Growth Publishing. This book was released on 2022-01-07 with total page 205 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Various factors contribute to the mediocracy, division, or demise of a ministry. The greatest factor is the lack of godly, effective leadership. Unlike worldly standards, God holds Christian leaders to a higher standard. These opposing standards explain why sinful corporate leaders often find success, whereas ungodly Christian leaders often don’t. Anyone who believes they have a gift for ministry can establish one. However, it takes wisdom, integrity, character, and divine direction for a ministry to grow and thrive. The Nehemiah Factors contains various principles designed to empower current or aspiring leaders by providing timeless principles that Nehemiah employed while rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls. Each character-enhancing principle will promote spiritual growth while simultaneously developing leadership skills. The practical applications included will equip you to become the Godly, effective leader that God intended. From Nehemiah’s example, you will learn: → God’s hiring methods → The Importance of Discernment → Godly conflict resolution → “Communicative Etiquette” → Servant leadership, and much more This book is for you whether you are a minister, leader, teacher, manager, or mom. Applying these principles to your life will ensure that you lead successfully and in a manner that is pleasing to God.

Download or read book The Nehemiah Blueprint written by Jon D. Bennett and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2016-02-29 with total page 192 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Book of Nehemiah is an awesome testimony that when God has a purpose for a group of people, He does not forget about them. Through ups and downs, God remembers. Sometimes we may be tempted to think that when walls fall down around us, God has thrown up His hands and left us to perish. Nothing could be further from the truth! I believe that even your reading this book is evidence that God is working behind the scenes in the hearts of modern day Nehemiahs and Ezras to bring His eternal purposes to pass. As mentioned at the outset of this work, either God knows all and is in control of all, or He's not God at all. There is one more thing I'd like to point out as we anticipate turning this blueprint into footprints. Whatever we accomplish in terms of rebuilding the rubble is all about God. It is not your name or my name that is at stake. It is not your community or my community that matters most. Because the vision (and all that follows) comes from God, it is God's own reputation that is on the line, thus it is God who will bring the work to pass-and it is God who deserves the glory! Several times in Nehemiah 13, Nehemiah pauses at the end of major sections (i.e. verses 14, 22, and 31) to pray. His prayer is not long and drawn out. In fact there are five words that he repeats each time, "Remember me, Oh my God!" He wasn't asking for personal support. He was asking that God would remember the work that He had called him to accomplish. He was asking that God's energy would enable his efforts. He was working, but it was God's work. As we continue to build walls that have fallen in our own back yards, may we be reminded that the work is greater than any pastor's reputation or church's name. It is God's work. We are merely servants who have been selected to carry out the vision of our King. May God "remember us."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Will God's leadership principles work for me today? God has not left believers in positions of leadership alone in their responsibilities. Through the example of one of history's greatest leaders, Nehemiah, we can apply God's principles of leadership. They work as effectively in today's dynamic business world as they did centuries ago. Cyril Barber brings out these Biblical principles in a clear and effective way, applying them to our contemporary world. By examining the challenges that Nehemiah faced, and looking at how he overcame them, Barber shows how you can deal with the situations you face every day. The principles taught are essential for all in administrative positions: business people, foremen, managers, supervisors, teachers, church leaders, and parents.
