David Bauscher and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2011-01-14 with total page 661 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the 3rd comparative edition of the 8th edition translation of The Aramaic New Testament (Aramaic was the language of Jesus and his countrymen of 1st century Israel) in an English prose translation of The Peshitta New Testament displayed in two columns- one has the King James Version on the left and the other has the translation of the Aramaic Peshitta on the right. This translation is derived from the author's Aramaic-English Interlinear New Testament. Aramaic was used in Mel Gibson's film "The Passion of the Christ" to make the film as realistic and accurate as possible. This New Testament will surprise and thrill the reader with its power and inspiration coming from the words of "Yeshua" ("Jesus" in ancient Aramaic) as He originally spoke them, in a literal and readable English rendering. 659 pages in 6x9" paperback. The parallel Psalms and Proverbs of both versions are included after the NT.

Download or read book Safe and Sustainable Use of Arsenic Contaminated Aquifers in the Gangetic Plain written by AL Ramanathan and published by Springer. This book was released on 2015-06-01 with total page 304 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book offers a meaningful and practicable guide to better management of arsenic problems in the groundwater of the Gangetic Plain. It gathers contributions from distinguished researchers who have been actively working in the area for over a decade. The arsenic contamination of groundwater is a growing concern in the central Gangetic Plain, where the local population’s main sources of fresh water are surface water, groundwater and rain water; of these sources, only the last two generally meet the most important criteria for drinking water in their natural state. Natural geological changes are presumed to be the primary reason for arsenic contamination in this region. Further, most of the people living in this area have developed the habit of drinking water (groundwater) from the arsenic-contaminated tubewells in many parts of the region. As a result, many are suffering from arsenicosis and many more are at risk. Since the cause of arsenic contamination in groundwater still remains unclear, this book seeks to address the arsenic issue in this region by pursuing a holistic and systematic scientific approach. Accordingly, it delineates various sources, processes, hypotheses and remedial approaches that are needed to manage the arsenic contamination in the Central Gangetic Plain.
Download or read book Plain Plane Geometry written by Amol Sasane and published by World Scientific Publishing Company. This book was released on 2015-12-07 with total page 288 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book constitutes an elementary course on Plane Euclidean Geometry, pitched at pre-university or at advanced high school level. It is a concise book treating the subject axiomatically, but since it is meant to be a first introduction to the subject, excessive rigour is avoided, making it appealing to a younger audience as well. The aim is to cover the basics of the subject, while keeping the subject lively by means of challenging and interesting exercises. This makes it relevant also for students participating in mathematics circles and in mathematics olympiads. Each section contains several problems, which are not purely drill exercises, but are intended to introduce a sense of 'play' in mathematics, and inculcate appreciation of the elegance and beauty of geometric results. There is an abundance of colour pictures illustrating results and their proofs. A section on hints and a further section on detailed solutions to all the exercises appear at the end of the book, making the book ideal also for self-study.
