Is it a good idea for weight loss? A low-calorie, high-protein diet Whatever diet we choose, it must not carry the risk of vitamin, nutrient or mineral deficiencies. It must be composed in such a way as not to disturb the proper functioning of our body. Even a low-calorie diet that implies significant cuts in daily calories. A basic low calorie diet must and should be protein. Hence, such a diet is often called a low-calorie high-protein diet. This protein helps us burn fat, and at the same time provides energy for all the necessary processes that take place in our body all the time. Of course, you can't go overboard in any way. Protein in the diet also can not be too much. Unfortunately, an excess of this ingredient can be harmful. So let's make sure that the protein constitutes about 15 percent. daily amount of energy. Its valuable source in the diet will be lean meats, lean meats, eggs, fish (preferably fatty, sea), legume seeds, lean dairy products, skim milk and products such as grain and nuts - although the latter to a much lesser extent. From the group of products mentioned, it is worth considering dairy products longer. It has an important task, so it cannot be eliminated from our diet under any circumstances.
