The LM380 i.c. is an easy-to use general-purpose power audio amplifier. The technician can use it as simple non-inverting 2W amplifier, or in conjunction with a single bipolar transistor, as a small baby alarm. The 723 voltage regulator i.c. can be used in a variety of fixed or variable voltage power supply applications. It can be used as a low voltage (2-7.2V) regulator and, if the technician modifies the circuit, it can produce variable output voltages.
