Book 101 Ways To Successfully Age Gracefully

Download or read book 101 Ways To Successfully Age Gracefully written by Tonya Walton and published by . This book was released on 2020-08-13 with total page 222 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Tales of a mythical Fountain of Youth have traveled around the world for centuries. Millions of people flock to different locations searching for magical waters that claim to restore youth, while it is estimated that anti-aging products and services make up more than 50 billion in U.S. dollars. What are so many of us really in search of? When I posed this question to several hundred people, overwhelmingly the response centered around the desire to feel and look youthful as we age. The bottom line is this, most of the people I surveyed want the ability to live a productive and mobile life as they mature. It is not that they want some magic pill or water, they want the assurance of being able to care for themselves, mental clarity, and a physical body that withstands the test of time. They want to live life to its fullest. It is what I want, and, likely what you want too. 101 Ways to Successfully Age Gracefully is years of wisdom and life gems from those who have and continue to age gracefully. Turn the pages of this book into a keepsake by personalizing it with your own thoughts and words of wisdom. Let this be an inspiration to you, your children, grandchildren, and beyond.

Download or read book 101 WaysTo Stay Young written by Richard De Meath and published by Createspace Independent Pub. This book was released on 2012-09-04 with total page 124 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Every book begins with a single thought. In this instance, the thought was more a flash of divine inspiration, something that came to me in the middle of the night and refused to go away. Over the following weeks, I quietly approached one hundred friends, associates and close relations. I briefly outlined the project, while at the same time exploring their thoughts. Within less than a week, I began to receive a remarkable response from across the world. To cover every option and receive as broad a response as possible, I asked each writer to contact his or her friends, spreading the net as widely as possible. I offered very little guidance, preferring instead to see what divine inspirations came back from each contributor. The only guideline I gave was to ask each writer to write an article of some three hundred words. I little imagined that within the matter of a few short days an enormous torrent of replies would overwhelm me. It was truly delightful to find so many shared the same thoughts, whilst others offered something new and refreshing. This is where I faced the complex work of sorting them out for inclusion in this book. I sifted carefully through all these replies and in the end, chose one hundred that I felt explained how to stay young. The extra offering is my own! The one hundred people who have written the pages of this book address nearly every aspect of life, neatly laid out in a few succinct paragraphs. The youngest contributor is just nine years old! They are all here, each with their special slant on what makes them a typical cross-section of everyday society. It is quite likely you will find several who mirror your thinking, or give you pause to ponder on what they say and perhaps change your life into one that will retain its hold on youthfulness for an extra decade....or two!

Book excerpt: The challenge of this book is one that proved attractive to the writers, eliciting quite a a wide variety of interesting thoughts, that I urged them to keep to themselves and surprise me. I feel confident the resulting views are not only appealing, but quite possibly will also encourage you to think along more positive lines. Many of the writers believe that luck is more of a state of mind rather than mere chance. Others who claim that it is better to be born lucky than rich, and I must say that I too think along these lines. There are writers who write of the circumstances where they met their true soulmate after the breakup of an unhappy marriage. Of course everyone is aware of lucky Lotto winners, the fortunate few who appear with annoying regularity in our newspapers, or even more irritatingly, on our television screen, smiling at the camera just to tell us that 'life will not change'. Who are they trying to kid?
